Fully modded 10mm.
Scoped Trail Carbine.
Modded Grenade rifle.
Silenced Sniper Rifle.
Love & Hate.
Modded Hunting Shotgun.
Chance's Knife.
A wide assortment of explosives.
Hand Loader Perk.

Plan on dropping Sniper (Carbine will be sniping weapon) when Brush Gun becomes available; Thump-Thump will replace Grenade Rifle. Unless something interesting comes up in a future DLC, this will be my end-game loadout. It's not showy, and I know I could get more powerful weapons, but all I need.

Yup, the start is slow but picks up a after Nipton, the only problem is keeping the weapons supplied since a lot of them requires more than one EC/MFC/ECP for each shot.
Like, if I shoot a clip of the AER14 with MCMFC then I waste a total of 120 MFC.
It's important to place the shots right.

But yeah, Energy Weapons still feel like an underdog when compared to Guns. (Which doesn't make a damn lick of sense to me but whatever...)
So it's kinda fun but not "as" fun as it could be.

I guess Criticals are still important, too? They saved my butt on my EW character.

My EW character finished like this:

Fully Modded Laser Rifle
Pew-Pew
Thump-Thump
Pulse Gun
Assorted Explosives.
Laser Commander Perk.
Meltdown Perk -- greatly regretted getting this.

That's it. The dude traveled light. Gotta say, the fully Modded Laser is surprisingly effective if you have a decent Skill Level and Critical Hit chance.

chinese stealth armor with boones beret he gives you which i think looks awesome with the outfit, also with the rebreather best out fit ever. wish had better dt tho but its my favorite repairing svcks

I carry all of the uniques! Which ones do I use? I don't remember. I haven't played any games since spring break began. Beach time! But I do remember my loadout from when I role-played an American solider. I used the service rifle, sniper rifle, 9mm Pistol, combat knife, and later on I replace the Service Rifle with the All-American and picked up an LMG.

Trail Carbine w/scope - my bread-and-butter weapon
Vance's 9mm Submachine Gun
Various explosives

I never really use either machine gun, Maria or the Mysterious Magnum though, and I'm not really sure why I bother lugging them about with me tbh. Still, Cowboy + Trail Carbine = all kinds of awesomeness.

Currently in Sierra Madre/Dead Money so I have:

Armor: Assassin's Suit, SM Security Helmet
Weapons: Primarily use the Police Pistol with JFP Hand Loads but I keep the "BAR" Auto Rifle+ (w/ JSP rounds), the Holorifle+++, Bear Trap Fist+ and Knife Spear Clean handy on my d-pad shortcuts just for the hell of it.

Once I get out, I'll probably go back to my T-51B/Recon Helm/Authority Glasses for my armor.

For my weapons, I'll probably add the BAR+ to pair up with the Sniper Rifle+++ since they use the same ammo.
I use The Brush Gun with SWC Hand loads for the endgame when you have to fight off waves since It's decent in and out of VATS
The 10mm Pistol+++ is my preferred Holdout weapon so I always have that hotkeyed as my sidearm.

If I shoot em' it takes quite a while. If I punch em' it's over fast. I don't like the guns in Fallout anyway. It gets old shooting stuff over and over when In Stalker a single well placed shot with a nice gun is all you need.

I'm playing Fallout 3 again and it's a pain, the guns generally svck.

Tons of powder charges.(Great for pantsing due to their small explosive spread.)

This Machine (This has Courier 6 written all over it) I wish they had regular Battle rifles...sigh...
Holo Rifle (I LOVE it!!!!!!) Pump action with scope, like a shotgun and sniper rifle with fancy aesthetics. <3<3<3 :wub: God I feel like a fan girl or something. This scares me! :o
3 Holy Hand Grenades. (I save these for special marks. (Probably Graham, Ulysses, and ?)
Chance's Knife for more personal kills.

I snuck it in the arena to kill Benny (He had it coming, revenge for Chance).


When I haven't got the holorifle and This Machine, I go for a fully modded Hunting rifle for my beginning gameplay. Please let the hunting rifle scope be in the next game. Obsidian did it right with this rifle. :) (Could have a bit more damage though :wink:)
