I sliced Ralofs nephew in the face on an accident,and he,his sister,and Hod killed me very quickly.I also went out on a log over a very large waterfall,and when I was fighting some dude on the log Lydia fell over.I have not seen her since.

I'm not sure how much of a fail this is, but I'm new and thought, hey, a chicken, good food. I kill it and in the corner pops up: "bounty in Whiterun". I'm like, fine I guess I won't go there till I'm done with the quest, thinking I'm fine I continue on, then I hear Alvor (sp?) Behind me screaming: "her head is mine!" And I'm hit lol. So I spend the next five minutes trying to remove the bounty while everyone kills me and I know I killed one dude in the process, hopefully he isn't important lol. But dang, all over a chicken lol.

About 30 minutes after character creation: "What're those? Giants and mammoths? ............................ Yeah, I can take those."

Fighting an insane mage below a meadery letting Lydia lead the way while I pepper the mage with arrows....finally killing him after about 4 reloads, seeing Lydia with an arrow through her dome on the ground.

Have any of you guys had a completely "why the hell did I do that?" moment in skyrim.

Mine was killing a chicken... I praised the nine divines that I had saved beforehand.

I've killed two chickens. What seems to be the problem with that?

Seeing a dragon in the distance, start running to catch it, jumping over a reasonable sized rock just to realise it's the end of the cliff.

A curior was fleeing from a troll, trolls are weak against fire so I use Fire Breath shout. Troll starts to come after me and games says '40 gold bounty in Riften'. Oops. On the plus side, I killed the troll, and said curior burned to death from the shout so no witnesses.

Riding along I saw one of the walls with the Shout words on it in the distance. I thought to myself, oh look its got a statue of a dragon on it...... >.<

The exact same thing happened to me...

Going up to High Hrothgar (sp)... the direct route. As in, straight up the mountain. Spent 2 days clinging to sheer ice walls before stumbling across the final part of what I now know is called the 7000 Steps. So for me, it was like The 20 Steps.

I was going to explore a ship outside of Winterhold and as i was making my way down i didn't find any path which made me look over the edge of the ice cliff i saw water at the bottom and thought about jumping down. I jumped but when i came closer to the water i could see the water floor and after an other second my character lies dead.

After I finished a quest in a dwarven ruin, slayed the centurion, and got the sword I headed out and instantly got blasted in the face by a frost Dragon. MY WEAPONS, THEY DO NOTHING!

The first time I saw a giant I was like "Oh look a giant. I think you can talk to them." So I ran up to him and when he slapped me, my lifeless body flew at least 200 feet in the air. I don't try to talk to giants anymore...

ive got amonent of wtf is that, then pwning a bandit chief with a massive skull that swings from the roof of a cave. I was like 'lolwinfailnoobpro!'

I was level 5, and going to some tower east of some village who's name I've forgotten(probably whiterun). I climb this tower in sneak mode, and kills a bandit. Of course all the bandits get mad and come after me. I kept backing up and shooting my spells, til I backed up off the bridge and died

Cruising through the main quest and thinking that fighting Alduin was easier than a mudcrab... and then trying to hack and slash his way through a dragon priest...

I almost snapped my disk trying to do that

I killed a chicken too, in Riverwood. The whole town flipped out and started attacking me! Fortunately I was able to load a previous save without losing any progress.

However, my other stupid moment came as I was just beginning the climb of 7,000 steps to High Hrothgar when I got attacked by a frostbite spider. What I didn't realize is that my health bar wasn't full after I had just encountered a sabre cat not long before. A couple of bites from the spider later and I was dead. I hadn't saved since Whiterun. I had to start the trek all over as well as find all of the places I had discovered along the way again. :facepalm:

Spending minutes arranging Hotkeys, to ensure they are perfect

Next battle, Completely forgot all bindings ... yeah it was a mess ( playing as a Pure mage)

Erm 5 minutes ago was a very fail moment...travelled to a large Forsworn camp that i thought was cleared earlier..arrived there to get attacked by about 15 Forsworn, including spellcasters. Cleaved 2 or 3 before getting multi ice spike missiles impale me and send my corpse somersaulting into the river below....the death cinematic was quite spectacular :tongue:
