Your fail moments?

Have any of you guys had a completely "why the hell did I do that?" moment in skyrim.

Mine was killing a chicken... I praised the nine divines that I had saved beforehand.

Backing away from a Dragon during a fight and going straight over a cliff.

A very high and sheer cliff.

Accidentally killing my intended with a blow to the head.

And then trying to get to a certain monastary. I completely missed the original path and tried to climb up mountains that weren't meant to be climbed. A lot of swearing and smoke breaks were involved.

The time I took my recently purchased horse up the 7000 steps.... only half way up my horse was attacked by some wolves and got sent over the side of a cliff. 1000 gold plummeting several thousand feet...

What is that on the floor? Hmmmm, looks like a stone shield. I'd better have a closer look...

Click.

Getting hit in the face with a spiked wall is quite fatal indeed.

I was pretty confident horses couldn't be hurt/killed after jumping off some pretty high spaces......Found out pretty quickly I was wrong.

Recognizing the stone shield and the spiked wall for what they are...

... Only to wonder about the jug hanging from the ceiling a few rooms ahead, then taking a swing at it to see what's inside.

Dragon came to the College at Winterhold, and I used the Storm shout. I found out the hard way that lightning bolts do not discriminate. After the dragon died, the members who helped me kill the dragon immediately nuked me to death.

When I was level 5 or so, I thought I would try to kill a giant. I shot him with an arrow - his health didn't move. I shot him again, his health just barely moved. He got up close to me, slammed his mace on the ground, and I felt the earth shake as it launched me 200ft in the air and killed me (no joke). I tried to do this again to a mammoth at a little later level, with the same 1-hit death result... though not nearly as entertaining as getting catapulted.

I keep finding that it's very easy, on the 360, to accidentally hit SHOUT rather than SPRINT. In the middle of city crowds. Hilarity often ensues.

Also, I spent hours on an epic trek over land, swamp, and mountain in order to reach Winterhold from Whiterun, getting the crap hammered out of me several times, running from saber cats, bears, and god knows what. Then I discovered that the nice man in the cart would have insta-ported me for 50g. *facepalm*

*Running around in some hot springs, I spy a man off in the distance*

"Hey a dude! I wonder if he has a quest for me!"

*Runs over to say hello without realizing it's a Giant*

"Hey there got an-"

*Is whacked by a giant club 1000 feet into the air*

That's actually really useful information to have.

Trying to outrun a couple of sabre's on horseback on a mountain trail because I didn't feel like stopping, and I turned the wrong way. Began sliding while hitting jump about a hundred times hoping I could stop the fall and get back up...yeah no. Down a rocky cliff side in very slow motion...horse and I went into a fast flowing river and were swept over a VERY tall waterfall. Wasn't all bad though...I got a nice third person view of our lifeless bodies floating face down once we hit bottom.

I charged at a Dragon while I had low health, and then he killed me with a slow-mo finisher. He grabbed me with his mouth and swung me away. :cryvaultboy:
