Your favorite and least favorite Oblivion creature

I hated trolls. They scared the :swear: out of me.

Mountain Lions were my favorite for some reason, even though they beat the crap out of me every time I found one.

Shouldn't this be in the Oblivion section?

This is the Skyrim discussion forums. The Oblivion discussions forums are http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/forum/4-oblivion-general-discussion/
I suggest posting in there concerning things about Oblivion.

Mudcrab 4 lyfe.

Did you know there are mudcrabs that are more fearsome than humans? Or so they say, anyways.

I hated skeletons so much. It seemed really unfair that they leveled up and I couldn't just easily smash them later in the game. Plus, I used summoned skeletons to help my Mage character level up some combat skills and found out that after enough summoning, the skeletons got powerful enough to defeat me. Killed by my own creations...

The mountain lion was just that. A mountain lion. It was not a puma, a cougar or a panther.

The mountain lion was just that. A mountain lion. It was not a puma, a cougar or a panther.

Hmm

The cougar (Puma concolor), also known as puma, mountain lion, mountain cat, catamount or panther, depending on the region, is a mammal of the family Felidae, native to the Americas.

It's a cougar, mountain lion is a disambiguation.

I've always loved the goblins since they were one of the smartest creatures in my opinion... yet tribal. They were still pretty ignorant, yet intelligent enough to organize an assault on a farm or a village. I really hope there are goblins or something similar in Skyrim. (I hated how their faces were somewhat in the shape of a football though.)

I guess the only one I disliked were the imps, for whatever reason. They were too mythological, plus I just don't like the idea of a pixie flying about shooting fire at me.

Will O Wisps and Imps are the oens I hate :stare:

Loved Minotaur Lords :) and Ogres were fun to shoot arrows at...

P.S: the strongest of all zombies (20+ level) are also annoying as hell, they're scary and strong!

The mountain lions were the absolute worst. By the time they are close enough to hit they just repeatedly attack you and there's no stopping it, if you had a bow there was absolutely no way to time the shot right, it always flies under them when they leap. They are almost as bad as clannfears in that manner.

Clannefears are the worst, though. They have that jumping attack that homes in on you. They'll be in the air, and if you move they'll literally adjust themselves mid air and hit you. You could run a circle around them when they are jumping and they'll still hit you on the opposite side.

Hated trolls, since they were both fast and strong. Can't believe will-o-wisps aren't on this poll though. Small, extremely durable and powerful, only vulnerable to silver or enchantment, invisble. No thanks.

This could thread could stay in the skyrim section as long as the discussion stays on what you want to see or don't want to see in skyrim.

In any case, I hated rats... and technically mountain lions too. First off, rats are rats... small and crunchy. If they attack you, they should be smaller and attempt to swarm you. It shouldn't take two sword swings to kill a simple rodent.

And of both rats and mountain lions, the lunge attack was extremely annoying. Mountain lions could leap across vasts tracts of land to attack you... and then keep leaping, and the rats were the same just on a smaller scale.

I loved zombies though. They hit people, got hit, walked, and even sounded in a reasonable fashion.

Though, I'm not in love with any one creature enough to see it in skyrim. I just want there to be more types of creatures and, more importantly, for each creature to have a more unique attitudes and combat behavior.

This list is incomplete.

Will-o-the-wisps were my favorite I think.
I liked anything featured in Shivering Isles as well.

Trolls because they kicked my butt the first few times I ran into them, and They make an annoying sound.

That was why i chose zombies... they were so time consuming to kill that it was annoying.

I hated Will O Wisps and Goblins. I loved the Minotaurs and Ogres. Not sure if they are confirmed or not, but i think polar bears or a mutated version of one would be cool. They would fit in Skyrim's setting pretty good

For Skyrim, I want birds. The things they've said they've done with Dragons could easily be incorporated into lesser scale fights with birds that could train you for fights with Dragons.

Teresa loves bears. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Oblivion514.jpg

Zombies on the other hand - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Oblivion147.jpg - are just icky.

Teresa would like to see Hydras in Skyrim, but doubts they will be there.
