Your favorite Casino in the Mojave

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 2:36 pm

Here's a question for all New Vegas fans. Casinos, everyone loves them. You do make a large amount of caps by reaching the jackpot limit. Heck there's even and achievement for getting kicked out of them. My favorite casino would probably be the Top's, because it's the only casino in the game that captures the essence of the Fallout 50's theme. Plus you have the Aces Theater where you get to watch shows in after you have found all of the acts. And it has a high jackpot limit, not as high as the Ultra-Luxe, but still high.

So what is your favorite casino?

Probably the Tops, because it's the only one I can enter without having all my weapons confiscated.

Fallout never had much of a 50'3 theme before fallout 3, but my favourite is Gomorrah. It felt like it had more personality then the others.

I like the Tops because of the friendly atmosphere and the Aces Theater. Gomorrah pisses me off for some reason, probably because I think the Omertas are small-time dirtbags. The Ultra Luxe is too fancy for my liking, and the White Gloves are creepy. The Sierra Madre is great too, but you can't return to it, and it's, well, empty.

I don't care for Gomorrah, it's to sleazy for my tastes.
I love the Ultra-Luxe, but only when I'm in a decadent mood.
I enjoy Vault 21 because it's so....serene.

I love The Tops the most of the active casinos because it's an upscale guys guy place, the kind of place you can imagine coming at the end of the day with your pals and loosen your tie.

I do like the Tops though, especially after winning at the blackjack tables, watching The Rad Pack while eating my Brahmin Steak.

Sierra Madre, but it isn't in the Mojave, so the Tops, by far.

It's just fun to be around. Hanging around in the Aces Theater with all 4 acts hired is fun as well.

I would say the Gomorrah for all those hot asses but the Brimstone creeps me out (not really into ghouls and gays).
So the Tops is at the top. I always love listenin to the Lonesome drifter, wish you could have him as a companion.

The Tops, mainly because it feels like vegas and not a cesspool of human filth.

I like the lucky 38 although no one has been there in a while... it just has a certain look to it that makes it great but for a real working place the tops by far.

Overall, the Tops. It just has a cool vibe in it and love the Presidential Suite. Vikki and Vance's isn't too bad, once it gets back up and running.

(not really into ghouls and gays).

Ah some good ol' fashioned bigotry, I see.

I think I like Gomorrah the best because it feels the most alive compared to the rest. And I think that's what a post-apocalyptic casino would be like.

Favorite Mojave Casino?

The Atomic Wrangler.

Walk in. No patdown. Cashier is right beside the blackjack dealer, who is right next to the roulette dealer, who is right across from the slot machines, which are right near the cashier again. You're in and out fast.

It's the only Casino that has any actual jobs. Half a dozen small ones that are easy and can be fun if you RP evil. They pay a thousand plus caps all totalled. IIRC Caleb alone pays 500.

It's next door to the Van Graffs which only increases it's ambience.

Downsides are the low bank limit and the crappy room they give you for doing their work, but that fits the neighborhood.

The Wrangler is usually the second place I go when I hit Freeside after Mick and Ralph, just because I usually enter by the east gate so I pass M&R first.
