your favorite fallout 3 quest

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 4:18 am

Wether it be simply(spoiler ;) ) escaping the vault or talking to a ghoul down on his luck being worshiped as something he is not, what quest sticks out for you?

As for me it is a hard one it's between the american dream where you meet the president John henry eden probably the best character in fallout 3 or trouble on the homefront, oasis ,replicated man ,tennpenny tower theres alot actually now I think about but whatever so what do you think fellow forum dwellers?

taking back purity for the main quest, it felt so awesome watching the team mascot slaughter the bad folk, hmm side quests...oasis (so pretty with teh trees) or the replicated man, totally tricked the scientist to get both rewards

From the main game I'd have to say, Reilly's Rangers.

From DLC's it is a toss up between The Pitt main quest (because it's so short D:) or The chinese spy mission at Point Lookout :D

"The American Dream."

I love its name and the fact that Eden is the primary character in it.

The chinese spy mission at Point Lookout

That's a great one too.

Speaking of DLC quests. "Death From Above" was also a great one in my opinion since it was the (triumphant) first appearance of the Bradley-Hercules.

Main Quest: Take it Back. Well think about it! You fight your way through the Enclave in an epic battle that spans a good portion of D.C's ruins and then you watch as a majority of the Enclave is slaughtered by Prime. So awesome.

Side Quest: Trouble on the Homefront. Nostalgia of my very first Fallout 3 playthrough really. Nothing more.

Head of State. I love going after the Lincoln Repeater. Man that place is dark and scary.

Repairing the dish for 3 Dog is also cool. Gotta love that ghoul and mutant killing!

Definitely the American Dream. Seeing the inside of Raven Rock for the first time was breathtaking.

Reilly's Ranger's was a good quest and the reward was equally cool.
I loved my Ranger Combat Armour, it has excellent stats and looks great.
Even the mapping quest afterwards gives a good number of caps ( Reilly had a crippled leg after my quest, is this normal? I reverse pick-pocketed stims but she never healed )

Woah The Replicated Man? I could sort of see why that would be appealing, but to each their own :D I personally hated that particular quest as it just dragged on too long for me :(

Following in his Footsteps - the first journey into the metro tunnels and the epic battle at GNR. I love that quest.

I also quite liked completing Those! mainly because I died so many times when attempting it at level 3 I eventually gave up and came back at level 15+ and blasted those ants to pieces. Finally completing it was quite satisfying, and I enjoyed it mainly for that reason.

Is "The American Dream" a side quest? I don't ever remember doing that quest.

Its the quest in which you travel through Raven Rock, meet Eden, get the Modified FEV vial, and then leave.

Lol it's arguably the most important quest in the game.

"You Gotta Shoot Them In The Head" is also fun, although I don't shoot any of them in the head.

The reason being is because the inside of Fort Constantine is plain epic. Especially the Warhead storage at the very bottom.
