Your Favorite Governor

Wow. I'm the first to vote for Countess Ariana of Chorrol. Yea, she's stuck-up and a bit on her high-horse, but she's the only leader I know of who actually rides a horse, gets out into the countryside and travels around. That's so hot.

Shucks, I made a mistake. I meant Countess Caro (Count of Lleyawin's wife), which isn't an option for the poll. If I can't choose Caro, then I know who I'd vote for. Not taht anyone cares or anything.

Regardless of whether or not she is actually running things she is the consort not the regnant therefore she is not in theory the one in charge. I believe Narina Carvain is the only woman ruling a county by her own birthright and not marriage.

I voted for Countess Milona Umbranox. The Umbranox family originally came to power by deeds, not birth. The first Count Umbranox was an Imperial Navy officer who saved the Gold Coast from piracy. Plus, Anvil is a beautiful city.

Mostly though, I picked Milona because I'm a svcker for a love story. ;)

Ah very true. It kinda cracks me up that she's married and stuff but she has no patience for just sitting around at court, playing the quiet, dutiful wife all day. That's awesome!

Hassildor, definately. I like Corvus Umbranox too, but he's not an option.

Anvil: She's nice enough, but rather boring and doesn't have much to talk to about.

Bravil: Drunker idiot, lets his son get away with too much.

Leyawin: Hate them both. Racist, imperialistic, ignorant pricks.

Cheydinal: I like him. He doesn't stay on top of current situations as much as he should, I haven't got anything against him.

Chorrol: I find her annoying, to be honest.

Bruma: Not much to talk to about.

Janus Hassildor of Skingrad, next favorite is Arriana Volga of Chorrol. I hate the Dark Elf governor.

I'd kill him for letting his son get addicted to skooma and not doing anything about it.

Count Hassildor obviously, with Andel and Narina as a close second. I think I like Hassildor the most because he is the most involved with quests, and you learn a lot of his character. I like Andel because he isn't an Imperial and his son is pretty cool, and I like Narina because she's the count of Bruma, and I love Bruma.

I always liked the Countess of Bruma and the Countess of Chorrol. Their cities are very, very nice. =)

I like Janus out of that list, but if the Count of Anvil was there I would pick him
Spoiler
The Gray Fox!
.
I personally think Ocato from Daggerfall intro is the coolest looking though, but this poll is for Oblivion.

Of course Janus is cool because he's a vampire. All the other counts are rather dull when compared to him. :P

Miss Narina has always been kind to my characters.
She greets them politely and offers shelter from the storm. She's also genuinely grateful for any help provided.

Nice lady.

And Janus is nice too, he doesn't eat your character despite being a vampire. ;)

Well, technically, Count Marius of Leyawiin IS my character's boss, so I think he gets my vote.
Besides, what other Count tells you to beat up Argonians for a pay check?

Janus Hassildor has my vote.
As a vampire and a man who apparently cares for his people, this makes him a rock of stability, imho.
