I'm pretty sure that's not true. I used Black Widow to seduce Benny, and no Charisma check was involved. That's definitely the most classic BW moment, since like the eponymous creature, you mate, then you kill.

Confirmed Bachelor has its moments, I must admit, both with getting Manny to reveal the truth about Benny (very useful for the first-time player) and in recruiting Arcade as a follower. But I have to give the nod to the Black Widow Benny Seduction as well.

I personally like the confirmed bachelor perk best. I almost always play a male courier and the 10% to males helps in combat and the nice man at the NCR outpost repairs all my stuff to about 75/80% for nothing always useful at the start of the game.

Lady killer has it's uses too and to be honest I usually take both but almost always confirmed bachelor first perk I get!

I will admit that Black Widow/Confirmed Bachelor is the more useful of the two perk sets, since you're more likely to face male opponents, especially if you're opposing the Legion (idiots, they turn half their potential fighting force into slaves/breeding stock). I rarely use Lady Killer, and I've never used Cherchez.
