Mine was when i was just wondering around and i came across one of those people who ask for water ( I havnt played in a year, but really excited for NV) and i went into the V. A. T. S. and was pretty much standing on top of him with my shotgun out. I aimed for his chest and pulled the trigger.. and BAM his body instantly exploded and his blood and body flew all over me and all over the rock he was against and when it went out of V. A. T. S. his head just came plopping (spelling? haha) down and bounced up.


So what is your Favorite V. A. T. S. moment/kill?

i used it on a raider once, his head came off and landed on the shelf behind him, perfectly, in between a phone and a pot

Gauss Rifle in OA sniped a chinese soldier off a mountain. Good fun!

Probably my favorite was sniping Arkansas in Vats from halfway across the town

Probably watching a Super Mutant Behemoth melt into goo in slow motion, after I took him down with my A3-21.

Plasma grenade into a group of 5-6 raiders, limbs flying, bodies shooting out. Only got XP for killing 1 raider though . Oh well, the visual effects was enough to satisfy me.

i threw a frag grenade at a raider and when it blew up it blew of both of his legs and sent his body rocketing towards the ceiling and when his head hit the roof it got crushed and exploded.

In The Pitt, I was on top of the Steelyard Blast Furnace battling Wildmen with my all-melee character. I Auto Axed one, dismembering them, and they flew off of the platform to a several-hundred-foot drop. Good times.

I walked into a metro tunnel, and bam, on the other side of the door were 6 raiders. I jumped into VATS with my Railway Rifle, got three headshots off, then switched to Eugene and hosed down the tunnel. When the dust had settled, the three raiders I hit with the railway had their heads fixed to the concrete walls inside the tunnel. :foodndrink:

My fav VATS kill is always when I take the head off of any Super Mutant with a single shot. Keeps my sneak status at "hidden" and I don't have to deal with the dude anymore.

Popped out from behind a corner to Fatman a Supermutant Gargantuan (Martigens Mutant Mod) from VATS, he bolted to one side and I didn't notice how far he'd gone, fired one off right into the corner of the wall in front of me. There were some vehicles as well. Pretty sure I hit the skybox.

BLAMMO. I laughed for about 20 minutes.

I haven't played Fallout 3 in about 6 months, but I went back on last week and I almost wet my self with laughter. Super Mutant got owned by me in V.A.T.S. I had a Power glove and I hit him in the ribs but the best bit was when he did a cartwheel across the wasteland and started fitting on the floor. Best ever that I have had so far :rofl:

Shot a talon company merc in the head, he did a front flip and kicked his own head straight into the air XD.

It was pretty funny.
