Atheism FTW! Atheists unite! *o*

*completely lost it*

I'll play a Mara freak in my next playthrough, but right now I'd rather enjoy my atheist "deities hater".

Well, for the sake of making sense, call your character a Misotheist. If anything. Not that it matters. I mean, it's your game.

A ) Real world discussion of religious beliefs or lack of therefore is against forum rules.

B ) As said before, you can hate the gods in the TES universe, but in no way can you deny they exist. I got wasted and played pranks on the common folk with Sanguine. I spoke with Nocturnal, I ate with Sheogorath. Earning the favor of the daedra grants me powerful artifacts, I regularly receive blessing from The Nine Divines.

I sell every artifacts. My character considers those altars to be enchanted by very powerful magicians, yet doesn't believe in the Gods.

These beings may have god-like attributes but they are more physical that any gods i have ever heard of.

Edit: I find the nine more of god-like beings. As they appear more divine and ghostly than the deadric gods.

So, doesn't that mean that all the voices he hears at Daedric shrines are just in his head?

Nah. He's a pro-thief who doesn't rely on magic for anything. He honestly thinks those altars and "monsters" are only necromancers who drank too much skooma or something.

So far, I like Meridia. She seems to be the more decent of the Princes.

But then you have the voice of Malog Bal which is heard by both the PC and that priest.

Could some one fill me in on whats happened to Sheogorath since shivering isles when he turned into Jyygallag, it appears Shegorath is in so I assume Jygallag is no more?

Mehrunes Dagon!

Mainly because of the epic fight that pits you against 4 Daedric Warriors.

Sheo' is now Jygallag, then the Champion of Cyrodill (you in Oblivion) became Sheo'.

The champ of cyrodill didnt become sheogorath he was just a place holder he was still a mortal but with godly power and only within the shivering isles.

I assume the other daedric princes cursed jyggalag with madness again in the 200 years after oblivion because once again they were fearfull of his power just like last time.

Should definitely be Sheogorath here. In Morrowind he was cool, in Oblivion even better, then the - almost legendary - Shivering Isles (what a guy!) and now in Skyrim! And of course the inventor of the Wabbajack! :D

I like the one that doesn't like his dog.

Quite humorous.

Forgot to say, although Sheo' is my favourite, as I've said previously, Hermaeus Mora will always be like...the Biggest, baddest, "Lord" of the Daedra to me.

Malacath is fav, mostly cause orcs are my favorite race and he is their patron daedric prince, also cause he admires power and strength over everything

Has to be Sheogorath simply because he was so epic in Shivering Isles. If a different daedric prince was focused on for an entire expansion pack, I might like him more, though; there are a lot of good daedric princes.

I hate them all. My character is an atheist and like me, refuses to believe in the existence of higher beings. This is like shoving beliefs in his and mine throat. I know it's just a game, but I find it offensive.

This is pure gold. Thank you so much!

I like the lot of them. They often have some great storylines/characters that twist the quest in weird ways. Shivering Isles was a beast of an expansion and Sheogorath was really well explored (well, as much as you can explore something like Sheogorath).

Azura will always have a special place, because solving her little temple puzzle in the Morrowind main quest made me feel great. This small far,far away place with the statue (i was alot younger and it really impressed me a lot).
