I dunno if I mentioned this one before, but I STILL remember the time that I just exited the robot repair shop near Canterbury, and suddenly a dead Robobrain coms out of nowhere and slams into the ground nearby and explodes.

Just the other day I went to the campsite for the deathclaw gauntlet schematics and every time I went near it the nearby deathclaw would shoot straight up into the air and disappear. Another one would appear on the ground and shoot up again. I just stood there and watched deathclaws shooting into the clouds lol.

I was nearby the other campsite when this happened.
The best part besides the glitch was Fawkes shooting at it, in the air, his laser goes all the way into space.

Charon and Jericho can shoot the amazing flying Deathclaws as well with their default weapons way up into the sky. But my character cannot. How unfair is that? I was so hoping we could bag the thing while it was in the air and then it would come crashing back to Earth. But that was a fail.

Heres a WTF moment for ya as its happening...... LOL

I am exploring Red Racer Factory and now suddenly some of the Ghouls heads are popping as though I am using Moira Brown's Molerat Stick. I am cracking up here in RL.......... Now I have been playing this for awhile, I have 123 Hours and 42 Minutes and I blew up Megaton ages ago...... Sooooo... WTF!!!

I however am not using the Bloody Mess Perk but I am using Syd's SMG.

The super mutants and ghouls in the Red Racer factory have chips in there heads the head exploding is a failsafr check the wiki for more detailed information.

The first time I met Star Paladin Cross, she was in the Lab bathroom drinking from the toilet.

Wow, what a first impression for her.

As I was walking from the RobCo factory back to Megaton a noticed a Yao Guai in the distance. I entered sneak mode and tried to sneak past suddenly GNR starts playing again, because I forgot that I walked out of range of the station on my way to the Robco Factory.
Needless to say that I got mauled severely.

In a subway tunnel towards GNR (since I decided to do the quest to prevent the former event from happening again) a noticed a glowing one rushing towards me. I entered VATS and shot the glowing one. It fell to the floor and slided a few meters further (my character kept his gun pointed towards the already dead glowing one) until it stopped at the feet of a Protectron. The first thing I heard when I exited VATS was the Protectron saying "Tickets Please" I laughed my ass off.

Another was when I was escorting Dad to Rivet City. I looked around a corner, and ventured forth. Suddenly I hear a growl and see Dad flying past me, saying "I didn't want to have to do this." I turned out that we got ambushed by a Deathclaw that mauled Dad. My AR-23 Got the better of him.

Glitches aside, some of my favorite genuine WTF moments were in that vault with the hallucinogenic gas. At first I thought there was something wrong with my computer.

It was just yesterday: I was exiting the Citadel and immediately upon appearing on screen I checked my Pip-boy to correct my map marker. Once I returned to the game my character was completely ethereal. He was crystal clear, I could move and everything else, but you could see straight through his full suit of Brotherhood Power Armor. It was fun running around pretending to be a ghost for a while.

That's happened to me before. Many times, actually. And I swear to god it always happens when I'm testing something and want to get screenshots.

Ah yes. On my first playthrough I reloaded a previous save and just walked past the vault thinking the place was too buggy to explore

I fast traveled to somewhere and as usual appeared right in the middle of some Talon Co. Mercs...

A glorius battle erupted...I lost sight of two of them (both with Combat Shotguns) and started getting pummeled but couldn't find them...I finally found/killed them...my health was @25%...

As I was moving away, after looting them, I literally took two steps and my threat indicator spiked to "Danger"...I spun around just in time to see a (bleep)ing Yao Guai jumping at me...

WT bloody F!

A giant swipe and I could hear my heartbeat...

I switched to the Combat Shotgun...went into VATS...three blasts to the skull = dead Yao Guai

I fast traveled back to Megaton. Saved the game. Then exited...I needed to catch my breath

Cramming the OD'd Druggie in Rivet City into the door to his house until he fell through to Rivet City HELL after becoming grotesque and mangled

I might pile up everyone in Rivet into a doorway to see the Spasms of the Supernatural

It was during the first run through of Fallout 3, I came out of the Vault, had been running around Megaton a bit, including the bridge with raiders and got some weapons and such. So finally decided to go to Megaton and went to Moriarty to speak about father. I wasn't totally familiar with controls yet and sort of missed the fact that I had my weapon drawn still. So I approach Moriarty and, out of habit, left click on him to speak with him. Well, weapon drawn + left click + "lucky critical" and mr. Moriarty's head splatters! Whoops! Now Megaton people may not like him too much but I guess they didn't exactly expect that some random person one day, in broad daylight, just walks up to him and blows him away just like that. Needless to say big firefight ensued, I ran out of the bar and more Megaton people joined, I screamed - while shooting back - "I come in peace!" but they didn't believe it for some reason. Well, it all ended when one especially poor and ragged looking fellow suddenly whipped a combat shotgun out of his rags and blew me away.

I laughed for a while about this, especially when I remembered how in Fallout Tactics I at some point was also supposed to meet some tribals for negotiations and I approached their chief and accidentally right clicked my mouse while having the chief targeted, however this action in the game meant "force fire". And so my guy, under the guise of negotiations, with his minigun drawn, made one shot and that totally obliterated that chief and all of his companions. I was then too like "Whoops! I'm sorry, this is not what I meant, I just wanted to talk to you, honest!".

Ah well, accidents happen, good thing I had saved the game before that, just in case.

I lost count of how many times I did that in Tactics.

i was in the statesman on the reilly quest when i spotted 2 super mutants on the other side of a small doorway. i went in to vats and killed the one in the doorway. it was so small that the mutant got stuck inside and then i went in to vats again. the mutant vanished and then i killed the other one. i went to the door and he was there again? i thought wtf i will investigate. i could walk so that i was in the middle of his body and when i went in to third person i could see only the mutant so it looked like i was somehow one of them. i walked past and set off a trip wire. i had time to run from the grenades that fell but cross got hit. she started making a weird noise that was like ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for about 5 seconds and then stopped.

"you wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world? EEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHRRRRR!!!"
from dumb and dumber XD

mine: random dead radscorpion falling in front of me. giant spook yao guai from behind. seriously, i hear it growl and turn around to find it om nom noming on my ass O_O
sniping a raider in one of the satcom arrays only to have her rubber*lady* all over the place.
and a fairly new one: something the second and his wife talking whilst --II spasses at the door to the suites on the second floor. not rubberman, but just walking in the frame of the door all weird. well, i shove him around a bit and he goes back to the same spot and then the hour must have changed since he finnally remembered how to use the door.

The plunger room. Or, one time I was walking and all of a sudden a vertibird lands infront of me. I take out my trusty Firelance and get ready to just waltz past the bozo's coming out of the bird. But I noticed the tick marks weren't red for them, I walked over the the Enclave troops and They were friendly. They just like stood there looking around. So then I went into sneak ( I dunno why) and they all started to attack me.

Plunger room, Flying enemies, Black blobs, MMM's ghoul raise (Seriously, finally kill that rambler and he stands up as soon as you pass him.) Flying vehicles, Vault 106 and 108, the living FEV subject (Found one alive when I went back to vault 87. Game froze when I attacked it, and it talked like a super mutant.)
