Your Favourite Daedric- Prince and why?

Did I miss something? I remember doing her quest and ruining her precious star, and all she said was "eh i'm kinda pissed at you" and then nothing ever happened

GamePlay =/= Lore

Regardless, what has Azura ever done to imply the power to strike back at me?

The Gods are intelligent enough not to screw with the PC of an Elder Scrolls game. The ones that made that mistake came out burned.

Hell Dagon tried it to the battlespire initiate and got his ass beat down. In his own realm no less.

Never mess with the PC.

well you know she can either send waves of champions at your dragonborn, curse you and cause you great misfortune....And the Nerevarine is still alive :P Not even the Dragonborn can beat the Nerevarine ((but it would be a kickass fight))

Oh, yeah, I'm really terrified of being cursed by a Daedra whose idea of a great misfortune is the depigmentation of my skin.

I know I may be alone on this one, but my favorite would have to be Clavicus Vile. I just find his mysterious nature and background intriguing. Not to mention that I loved his voice in Skyrim. Also, his relationship with his "dog" (or Barbas in the form of a dog) is very interesting. The fact that his powers are weakened when separated from Barbas is very interesting and I like his back-stabbing nature, provides for some humor.

Of course, I have to give a shout-out to Sheogorath for his awesome stories in lore as well as his comical dialogue and epic/hilarious quests. His quests are always a lot of fun to do. I'll also say that I like Hircine, Sanguine (his Skyrim quest was in my opinion one of the most fun daedric quests in all TES), and Hermaeus Mora, purely for his realm.

I enjoyed Mephala's quest very much in oblivion but it was pretty sh*tty if you ask me in Skyrim.

Oh, and I'd also like to add that I find it very funny that Peryite is basically the rest of the Daedric Lords' [censored]... that amuses me :)

I appreciate Claviuc Vile's power and respect his business sense....but he is by far the most stupid Daedra prince, he purposely accepted a dangerous weapon that his steward/advisor even warned him not to bring into his realm and it ended up destroying a good portion of the realm and eventually got out and screwed up Tamriel.

Jyggalag is believed to be rebuilding his realm and right now is only seen as a minor Daedra, his position is even lower then Peryite's

He is an interesting one. I also love the lore behind him and Umbra a lot. Quite interesting, that is.

I think Vile doesn't care for Tamriel. Actually, if was he who sent Umbriel to Tamriel because of a deal he made with Vuhon or w/e his name was again. Been awhile and not good with names.

A lot of Daedra don't care about Tamriel and sorry if my info is wrong, I never read the two Greg Keyes books or even had the gut to read what he considers lore.

Read the books, they are very very good and are actually lore-friendly. Trust me on that one.

And to inform you on what happened. Vuhon made a deal with Vile that he'll go get Umbra for Vile if Vile allows him to return to Tamriel on Umbriel, basicly.

Hircine.

If the other Daedra kill you, well there was nothing you could do about it. They murder you and shame you with your own helplessness. Hircine may kill you, but he will always give you some way to win, to escape with your life and turn the hunt on its head. Also, hunting (and therefore Hircine, who is hunting in physical form) is a major source of livelihood for people throughout Tamriel. Without him, Kynareth would be severely hampered and mortal societies would, for the most part, die off.

Peryite. Yes peryite. He may be the lowest of the princes(besides maybe jygalyg nowadays) but he appears as a dragon. He's like "Yeah! [censored] you Akatosh!"

Peryite's appearance is different in games. He can take the form of any Creature that was created Natural and wasn't created in a way that is against Natural Order.. In Skyrim, he takes a form of a Skeever (Rat). Dragon in other TESs

I have a small TV that doesn't show the words so well so I rarely do read the loading screens, sadly.

Difficult question for me. While I'm similar in nature to Sanguine or Hermaeus Mora, that does not define my choice in the matter.
I'd be more in favour of Hircine or Sheogorath's aims. But as I connect more to the personality of Mephala, she would be my patron.
