Your Favourite NPC?And why?

Post » Wed Apr 06, 2011 8:50 am

Guilty as charged, yeah I did pull that one out of thin air. Theres always the Mr. Burke solution to shut him up. Oddly enough I don't mind him, I thought he was funny and adds humor to the game.

How many guesses do I get?

Well if i get to go again then I'll have to guess...
The violin quest lady I can't remember her name...

Pistolero got it right. Although after carting him around the wasteland, the Pitt and Point Lookout he is a little irritating now. Maybe I need a new favourite NPC...I can't think of anyone else, so I'll stick with Tulip :)

Are you talking about Cromwell (the guy who preaches atom's glow) ? I don't recall having a quest to carter him around the wastelands unless you are talking about somebody else.

I like tulip also shes a cool lady

But I've decided to stick with MacCready he is F-bomb hilarious! Theres a a little immature snot nose cussing 12 year old in all of us.
MacCready in a way reminds me of Rodney from the movie Rollmodels.

Hell no, the best voice actor in the game is Wes Johnson. (his entry on IMDB is missing a voice, though, one of the really important ones).

EDIT: I was about to say that he doesn't really look like how he sounds, but then I saw http://www.imdb.com/media/rm903715328/nm0426432. :lmao:

EDIT2: Yeah, with that picture, I can see him screaming "I'M GOING TO RIP OFF YOUR ARM AND BEAT YOU WITH IT!" and really mean it.

Oh... He is a good voice actor! I agree with you on that. Do you or anybody know if he was Harold in fallout2?

Charles Adler did the voice of Harold in Fallout 2. Wes Johnson is a regular Bethesda voice actor as far as I can tell (he was in Morrowind and Oblivion as well).

I notice that Mr. Burke did have a similar voice that sounded like the guards from oblivion, the part when Mr. Burke gets excited about
Spoiler
blowing up megaton when it explodes
Wouldn't be a bad job voice acting.

Was Mr. Burke also Lucien Lachance in Oblivion? I've been wondering that for a while now.

I love Clover as a partner. My favorite regular NPC would probably be Bittercup, though. Her personality meshes well with mine.

Yes he was. In fact, Mr. Burke was essentially designed as a "modern-day Lucien Lachance", from what I gathered from the interviews with Mr. Johnson.

Colonel Autumn.

Ha ha just kidding :hubbahubba: Finished reading the now closed "Is The Enclave Evil" thread which was very interesting and shows how much more there is to FALLOUT 3 than is seen on the surface. Really brings up the issues of being guided by morals or not whether on purpose or not using commonsense thinking.

Favorite npcs of which there are many first one that comes to mind is Gob who with all the abuse he has suffered still has the strength to be nice to others and even grateful.

I used to hate Lucy West but with my latest character i was shocked some new conversation choices came up making her seem more caring. Amazing to see npcs you think you know act differently over a year later of playing FALLOUT 3.

Moira is another favorite for her intelligence and eccentric yet friendly nature.
Cromwell is another favorite for his inspiring and different religious views which seem to go into quantum mechanics and string theory symbolism.
Mickey the begger is another favorite because he makes me feel good by helping others. Then again maybe its a ploy to feel good by being charitable which is just fooling myself. Then again i am what i do or am i? All of a sudden am reminded of the old horror cult classic CARNIVAL OF SOULS.

Oops, re-reading that I could have been talking about Cromwell. But no, I meant Harkness.

Brotherhood Of Steel Knight, Tunnel Snake, Regulator, Reilly's Ranger, Outcasts agent, Pitt leader and Captain of Mothership Zeta Chris Rivet is my favourite:D Weeeell if I can choose the Lone Wanderer:P

Buuuuuut I choose Gob, he's one poor bas*ard, so I always kills Moriarty so he can own the bar:D
I like all gouhl also except from the one outside Tenpenny, but the lady gouhl out there I like very much:D
I also like Jericho, I don't need to tell you guys why:D

Amata I used to like, but I almost killed her and everybody else in the Vault when she told me to leave forever, maybe it was because I killed her daddy
But my favourites are Bittercup, Jericho, Gob, Dogmeat, Uncle (whats his name? :P) and the buttface himself: MacGready:D

Sydney. Personality wise, she is a babe. Independent, strong willed, and intelligent.... I also like her character's background.

I like Zip, too. I have a three year old nephew that acts just like him. His mind is working at about a 20:1 ratio with the rest of his body. He changes subjects in mid sentence, and runs everywhere he goes. If he does stop and stand still, he stands on his tip toes.

Anyways did it require a speech skill or something the only thing I got out of nova was that she liked him but wouldn't "do" him.

Yeah...she doesn't charge him for it because she likes him. Gob is her lover, if something happens to Moriarty she takes up with Gob openly and quits prostitution for good.
