Mine has been the Helm of Yngol, Nordic armour, Nordic boots, Nordic gauntlets, Shield of Ysgramor, Nordic sword. This looks so beastly.
I use several armor mods so I really have no vanilla armor set I prefer. But I like female savior hide combined with nordic gauntlets and hide boots.
Bonemold.
I cant live without a nice Bonemold armour.
Deadric, for the intimidation, and it fits one of the Dovahzul names that I'm thinking of using: Vuldovthurii Sildulun
Though I'm quite fond of the Dragonborn nordic carved armor.
Ebony is nice too.
"Ebony armor, by Ysmir, tis a wondorous sight..."--Hold Guards of Skyrim
Light armor, dragonscale (the dragon hide leather on the gauntlets is great), and vampire boots (just something about the style.)
Mages, adept robes.
I have to pass on many of these, unfortunately, because the stats aren't strong enough.
Youtube armor. God just saying that makes me want to slap myself.
House Telvanni Robes, The Aetherial Crown, Shrouded Hand Wraps, with any boots that I like at the moment.
My Wood Elf, fur armor all the way. Armor, boots, gloves and cap are all fur. Also a ring and amulet. All items are double enchanted by my character.
My Sorceress, 1. red vampire armor, circlet, ring, amulet, black Wing???? bracers you get from the emperors ship, and black vampire boots.
2. black vampire hood, black vampire gloves, black vampire boots, black vampire robes, ring and amulet.
All my sorceress stuff is also double enchanted by my character.
I'm afraid so, shame for me to like an armor based on its actual looks, design, and the ideal of it simply being Daedra like previous TES games. But alas, for the sake of everyone liking it, I must hate it as well because of independent thought process for which I desire to be a true individualist and my hipster glasses are cemented to my face.
I like Banded Iron, Steel, and Nordic Carved the most. For Nordic Carved, my only gripe is that I wish there was helm variant that had either fur like that collar over the neck, or padding like the leggings over the neck. Banded Iron is simple and still has a lot of detail, while being pretty intimidating. Steel's just the tried and true, looks good and can fit the armor cap if you're perked or use smithing. They feel very heroic, and with the exception of Banded Iron, look like they'd be able to handle the colder Skyrim climates.
Expert robes, I like the design and coloring, master ones are pretty good as well, but I prefer lighter color.
My current character is wearing a set of Forsworn armour with Stormcloak officer boots and bracers. Not really sure how effective the Forsworn armour would really be in an actual fight, but damn she looks hot in it. And thats all that really matters in the end.
if I had to say matching armor sets.
Currently forsworn for Valeria Stormborn and sleeved fur armor with fur shoes and gauntlets+Winter is coming cloak.
