Your'e favourite place in Cyrodiil

Post » Wed May 02, 2012 3:01 pm

Arborwatch, when adding the one mod "Prettier Arborwatch", has morning glories all over the outside - that's only change it makes, and it really seems to make it look more befitting of a noble or a politician. ;)

And Benirus Manor, I always buy that one first, considering I usually only like larger houses with more than one room, and it's one of the cheaper houses in the game. ;) And of course, if you get Better Benirus Manor, it really adds to the experience, making you almost feel like an Italian noble.

There are tons of places, but Anvil is one that always stands out in my mind. Benirus Manor, with its secret room and sneaking into the castle to steal things was so much fun!

Red Rose Manor is actually really nice. Acquired it this morning.
All three of us are very impressed, although one of us left early the next day for Ragnarok...

Sitting by the fire place in the humble little Waterfront shack (home sweet home), reading the books my character collects from the world. It's a very zen state of mind.

I'm also one of those who can't and doesn't complain about the way Cyrodiil looks. Cyrodiil looks like a happy place and is supposed to be so. It's freakin beatiful the way it is. HDR ftw. Politics, conflicts and Mannimarco, whole other story.
Now, my favorite place. Anvil, Cheydinhal. Imperial City for shopping. Shopping is Oblivion is much more fun then shopping IRL.
Another place I like is Wendir. It's kinda scarry in there and once you're in, it's hard to get out.
Also, I love the sunsets. So much.

My character has the same moments, but in his Bruma house. His book collection is only exceeded by his frost collection which he is very proud of.

If there were more conversation options with NPCs (not between NPCs, for the love of all the gods), I'd say the IC, but as it is I'll go with Tchos' Alchemy Tower, a very well designed mod with plenty of books from the place's irritable former inhabitant.

I like to go to Bruma mountains and simply listen the sound as snow falls, it is very relaxing.

Or go to Anvil and watch sunset, god this game is beauty indeed.

Hi,
I think this is a great thread and I ABSOLUTELY don't want to cr4p it and I also appreciate that I could be accused of being *just a tad* picky BUT please can someone change the title from "YOUR'E" to "YOUR".
Please? :)

My character has the same moments, but in his Bruma house. His book collection is only exceeded by his frost collection which he is very proud of.

All books are thrown into this one corner in my house. When I leave the town, I take one book with me. I read the book at night, be it at a deserted or cleared camp, or at a tavern with my dinner, or while spending the day lazing away at a waterfall. After I read the book, I place it on my bookshelf. Sometimes I take all the books off and start over, as I want the last book that I dropped to match those over there, and that one looks better over there... and then I spend two hours rearranging my books, which is no small feat on the 360.

Frost collection of what? :woot:

Anything. Weapons and clothes/armor enchanted with frost damage, books about Skyrim and frost damage scrolls, potions and poisons and of course ingredients. If it has anything to do with frost damage/protection, Lothran′s got it :)

Hee hee that bugs me too.

Favorite place in Cyrodiil? That depends on my character because I really can't pick a fave myself. My 2 current characters now...

http://i936.photobucket.com/albums/ad208/xenaclone/view.jpg isn't really all that picky. she prefers warm climates, though, being a vampire and all. So anywhere that's not up in the snowy mountains could potentially be her favorite place, especially if there's some NPCs nearby to [censored] with. She has several "homes", though. Her favorite is definitely http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Bleak_Flats_Cave.

Lady Saga (in profile pic) hasn't explored much of Cyrodiil yet. She's only been from the I.C area, thru the Great Forest, down to Skingrad and Anvil. I'm noticing she really likes the area around and to the north of Anvil. Anvil is her favorite town (so far) and the Gold Coast is probably her favorite area.

Granular snow makes a sound, and the closer it gets to ice pellets (sleet), the more it rattles. Heavy snow is very quiet; in fact, it's more of an absence of sound, since it muffles distant noises.

There. :)

Indeed. I love when it snows irl. It gets so quiet and very peaceful. That feeling is what I carry with me when I travel with Lothran :tes:

I meant sound of that place, not falling snow, my error.
Go to Frostcrag Spire and simply watch the horizon and listen to ?theme song of Bruma?

Not my favourite place necessarily, but quite pleasant nevertheless:
