I have a lot of respect for the Restoration skill, Skyrim could use more healers.

"Restoration is perfectly valid school of magic. Isn't it? ISN'T IT?!?"

Yes, it is. And it is my favorite AND most used :)

Mysticism.

No... wait... Conjuration, because you can bring things back to life and summon Daedra. What's not to like?

Destruction for the damage it does. Conjuration for the helpers you get. Illusion for the quiet casting.

Alteration, mainly for the Detect Life and Detect Undead spells. Very useful.

Huh, I just remembered that you could make a potion of detection in Oblivion. I wonder why that wasn't included in Skyrim.

Destruction to soften up stronger targets before I get in close. Alteration is great for the magic resistance skill.

Destruction, while not as useful is it was, it became fancier which I like.

This reminds me. After just spending HOURS looking at night for 3 Vampires, I wish they had a "find dead bodies" spell...

Restoration all da way! All those frantic times dual casting fast heal... great memories! :D

I remember when the restoration school had a simple little cure disease spell. Made life 1000 times easier. I don't know why they removed any of the things they did in Skyrim, but if I could find out who was responsible, I'd send a few fireballs their way (or maybe I would settle with angry letters).

I've found Restoration useful so far, my character is a Battlemage. I'm also a melee fighter (old Diablo habits die hard).

I use Minor Ward while I head straight to the enemy who is trying to fight me, I found it is more useful (especially when I am fighting mages or undead) - more useful than a shield. I go straight to the enemy and then make my kill using my skilled one arm sword. If I get hurt in combat, I just use the healing spell, no need to bring lots of health potions.

I heard that.

I love "Bloody Mess" in Fallout 3. All you have to do is find an eyeball or some little bit of flesh and you can loot the body.

I am a fan of Conjuration because of Bound Weapons. Bound Weapons can not be removed by a Pesky Draugr, can cast Soul Trap, have no wieght, scare the raised Minions of Foul Necromancers, banish Summons back to the Planes of Oblivion.

Conjuration also levels fairly quickly and with the Cost Reduction Perks, Quest Rewards, and luck in loot drops makes having a Daedric Sidekick or Two completely possible for a character that has never placed anything into Magicka at Level-Up

Conjuration because I can pull a dremora from oblivion to fight for me. I can raise the dead to fight for me. I call pull any atronach to fight for me, I can turn other's summons, banish them etc
