How did this get brought back from the dead? (Not that i'm complaining :no: )

I chose 'mostly nice, but with a dark side', because Id describe my character as ruthless good.

Totally against killing an innocent, especially if people forever call me murderer. But if someone inconveniently in the way of my scheming met with.. an accident, that would be unfortunate. But neccesary.
If one were to equip a found item and it turned out to be cursed, or if one ate a poisoned apple, well, its quite possible we will never know who did it, or if it was an accident, but at least we can now move forward..

The ultimate aim here is the good of the whole of Tamriel, that accruing wealth and power is a side effect is a nice consequence..

Yeah, I like to roleplay the schemer.

He will be an Altmer spellsword/ battlemage.
Long blade, destruction, illusion.

Race- Nord
Gender- Male
Focus- Exploring/forging/occasional questing.
Archetype- Legolas type.
Naughty or Nice- Very good, doing a few bad things here and there.
Weapons: Duel wield/archery with a touch of destruction magic.

This mostly is tradition. I was usually Argonian in OB, usually start as combat but switch halfway to stealth( won't be a problem in Skyrim!!), usually am good to the people but evil to anyone who's just a real jerk or a bad character. Most of the time male.
I can't wait to try the new class system(or lack thereof) so that I can be a true mix of stealth and combat!!!

Not really decided if this will be my first character yet but I will make this.

Background:
As a young boy he worked as an assistant to his family on there farm. He would tend the horses, collect water and travel to the nearby town to sell meat and crops.
One day as he was tending the horses in the stables he heard his father yell in pain from inside the house. As he ran upstairs he came across his mother's body with an arrow stuck in her head. Upon entering the next room he came across his father gasping for breath as the slit to his throat suffocated him. As he entered the room he came across a Kajhiit, which he knew as the family's slave. The slave was armed with a kitchen knife and had a bow and empty quiver on his back. The Kajhiit ran for the nearby window and leapt with the grace of a cat to the floor outside.
Filled with anger, Gillecomgain ran downstairs and made his way out side to the stables. He grabbed a nearby pitchfork and pursued the betrayer. The open terrain provided little cover for the fleeing cat and Gillecomgain threw the pitchfork like a spear. The projectile found its home in the back of the Kajhiit's knee, sending him collapsing to the floor. The slave lay motionless on his front as Gillecomgain approached. As he checked to see if he had killed his enemy, the cat spun round and clawed Gillecomgain across the face, creating three large gashes across his face. He picked up the fork and plunged it into the Kajhiits throat and got his revenge.
From that day forth Gillecomgain had a pure hatred for Kajhiit and trained his skills in archery, stealth, sword combat and alchemy to become a perfect assassin.
He worked as both bounty hunter for kings and assassin of the Dark Brotherhood. Every Kajiit he was targetted was killed, whether wanted dead or alive. His latest target was a political figure (Kajhiit) who worked for the Resistance side of the Nordic Civil War with a bounty of 500,000 septims. This was the first assignment that led Gillecomgain out of Morrowind and into Skyrim.
The target was abroad a restricted ship docked in a coastal town. He failed his mission as he was caught by guards and put in a POW prison and had all his equipment destroyed. This was the first assignment which he had failed.
He is now currently in a high security prison awaiting his uncertain fate as the civil war rags on.

Male Nord that focuses on combat and stealth. Main focus will be the main quest. And then everything else.

Definitely a Nord for the first playthrough. Probably with a warrior-type skill set but I'm also interested in seeing how accessible magic will be this time around. The videos and screens of the character with a sword in one hand and a magical staff in the other has me very intrigued. I am planning on doing everything I can with my first character; main story, faction quests, exploring. I like being a good guy so I plan on sticking to the side of law and order. For a little while at least....

My character: Skygge Morder Female Nord
Focus: Thieves guild/assassins guild and exploring
Her skills will, obviously, revolve around stealth.

I imagine her as being evil. This will be a very experimental character for me.

PS Skygge Morder is Norwegian for “Shadow Murderer”.

Her weapons will be Bow and Dagger.

I will follow my tradition of playing whichever race's Homeland that the game takes place in so...

The rest, like a name and the such I haven't thought about yet.

Male Nord who specializes in heavy weaponry and has little skill in magic. I'm not there to complete the main quest or become the Dovahkiin. I'm just some gold-hearted brute who is there to make a name for himself by slaying the dragons I meet and exploring the dungeons I cross. This, for the most part, is a test character to see how Skyrim 'works'.

My next character would likely be a Nord battlemage who strives to always help others, protect the innocent, and rid the world of the evil dragons. (basically completing the main quest)

All characters after that would be whatever I haven't done yet. A pure mage. A pure archer. A crazed murderer. Etc.

My first character will be a Nord, but i'm definitely going to give the beast races a spin in subsequent playthroughs.

An Argonian warrior or mage.

Then probably a Bosmer stealth/archer.

I'm going to bash my way around until i know whats going on, then make my stealth character.

I'll be going with my go to nord: Skirbrandr. translation( skir:bright, clear, shining. brandr: sword)
I'm a nord that has a certain affinity for hammers, but enjoys a good sword now and again. I also love shock spell types.
I've based it off my favorite comic book character from when I was younger. I've used this character mold ever since I played Arena on my cousins old computer when I was five.

Nord. I wouldn't consider any other race on the first playthrough....Mainly (or manly as the case may be) exploring. Will try to do the main quest at my leisure. Combat mixed with stealth if archery is considered stealth. If I can't have a spear, a good warhammer will do for a few levels. Then we'll see. Blunt weapons for sure. And bows. I have never played a female character. I will likely be mostly nice, but have been known to have an opportunistic side bent toward ill gotten gain. heh heh.

í think I''ll be a dunmer as I mostly have been. Going to do as I see fit. In my first game I will not plan ahead. I choose whatever I feel right about. Just going with the flow.

Gonna be a Dunmer Archer, skilled with a bow yet knows how to wield a sword. He will either be the son of a blacksmith who mysteriously had a passion for enchanting equipment. So he went searching for ways to fulfill his passion for enchanting and he found a group of necromancers who had taught him a bit of destruction magic and enchanting. After a year he was arrested when the mages guild had exposed the group of necromancers and since he didn't fight back they imprisoned him.

Or he will be a hard background elf, who had no parents and was raised by a poor family who found him freezing in the streets of the city before he desperately ran away and started a thieves life and then went to prison after he stole money from an imperial so now he is in prison and the game begins.

Or just a Nord who was enslaved by slavers and after several months they sold him to the arena of Cyrodil. He was a slave who cleaned away the blood, limbs and bodies after every fight. one day he offended a gladiator in the blood pits and the gladiator attacked him with rage. He grabbed a sand shovel and defended himslef and was forced to kill the man. There were no eye witnesses so he was arrested for murder and after a while transferred to a prison in Skyrim since the Imperial prison and all other prisons in Cyrodil were full due to an exposure of almost every thieves guild member in Cyrodil.

I'm thinking of going with a male Dunmer who is skilled in all three areas.Most likely I will focus on the MQ and try to be the "good guy".

Bosmer female, combat/magic/stealth mix, exploration will be my main focus. I will do this because I always like to balance the three skills, feeling myself at an advantage being able to use a combination of the three in my play-style, because some instances might require one instead of the other, and I like to be prepared. Exploration because I will be in a new world, and i want to see it all! Bosmer because it's my favorite race (I don't know why some say they would rather sleep with a horse--I'm pretty sure we Bosmer are more enjoyable ). Female because I am a woman in RL, and I don't fancy myself as a man. I like being a woman, thank you.

oh yeah, and I'll be mostly good with a bad side, because that's more fun!

I usually don't go for non human races in fantasy but I've always thought Argonians were just awesome. I mean their stealthy, can breath under water, and have an immunity, and high resistance to poison, and disease. No more worrying about poison apples for me! Plus I like the whole lizard, dinosaur look about them. Also I like the fact that some of them become assassins from a young age.

Plus if I get bored I can always don a brown cloak, put points into restorative magic, and roleplay as raptor jesus for awhile.

Or if I change my mind I'll go Dunmer or Imperial.
