Your First Character

Post » Mon Dec 21, 2009 2:32 am

Just wondering what everyone's first character will be like.

Hands down I am going to be a Nord on my first run through. He'll be combat spec, and probably have endurance and agility as his attributes. If its Oblivion birthsigns he'll probably be warrior, but maybe atronach or thief (but probably warrior). He's going to be kind of like the typical warrior using a shield, sword (hopefully spear too) heavy armor, etc., but will throw in a little restoration and illusion here and there.

I didn't include skills because they changed a lot from Morrowind to Oblivion so they could easily change again for Skyrim.

What about you? What will your first character be?

By the way sorry if something like this has already been made I didn't see one

I'll make a nord just to stay true to Skyrim. My favored race is Argonian though.

I'll probably start as a Dunmer.

I just love them, their background, everything. Probably either as a battlemage/spellsword or as a assassin/ranger, with all the appropriate skills, attributes and birthsign.

You may be able to choose different races than the oblivion ones so I am not going to vote until that has been announced.

I'll likely go the same direction as OP, with a Nord Barbarian character. Then after getting the feel of the game, I'll likely bring in a Dunmer Thief - or my classic Breton "Templar" Knight character.

A Nord, optimized for ass-kicking. Maybe a few stealth-elements, If I get the notion. We'll see.

Definitely going with:

Nord
Warrior
Strength and Endurance
Combat

I might try to make things interesting by taking light armor and limiting myself to 2 handed weapons.

Nord.
Strength and endurance.
Combat.
Warrior.

Only for the first play through. It will probably be the play through that I just follow the main quest and barely scratch the side quests.

As for the second play through. That's where I'll get deep haha.

Actually, for the main quest I think I'll also take a Nord, but a pure warrior might get a bit too boring in the end. I quess I'll go for a paladin type (warrior + restoration + mysticism) and the ritual is birthsign.

Same. I've played Oblivion mostly with that character, a black furred female Ohmes-raht named Ra'vena.
