To me my first all nighter had to be Legend Of Legaia one of my favorite RPG games of all time.

Halo 2 near when it first launched. Then I really got into Morrowind in 2006, stayed up for about 3.5 days playing it.

I think the first one was with Neverwinter Nights  I've had many, but nowadays i've noticed that i can't really do anything on the following day if i stay awake the whole night. I must be getting old :(

I stayed up all night playing a Pokemon Sapphire once, I was just lying in bed playing and next thing I know it's morning (and time for school :( )

I nearly stayed up playing Oblivion and Minecraft, but I got to around 3 AM and then went to bed. B)

I don't think I ever have. :P

Circadian rhythm is rock solid, so even if I want to stay up all night I'll crash at midnight no matter what. Only all nighters I've ever done in my life have been standing watch in the Navy, and trust me it's not because the watch was so good it deserved it.

The latest game would have had to have been wow. The first 2 weeks with that game were kind of just a blur of sleeping at weird and inconsistent times and playing the game. Glad to say that I have chilled a lot with that game. After only about 5 weeks I can happily say the game didn't get it's hooks in me like it has some people. Before that, I know when New Vegas came out, me and my friend pulled about 36 hours interchanging his and mine character before we finally slept. Had to have done this for Morrowind as well. The one time that really stands out is 2 years ago for my friends birthday. He had a couple friends over for an extended period that we had off of school, and all we did was play games. We pulled out multiple tv's and set everything up to live. Fueled on a mountain of cans of energy drinks, I put in an 80 hour stint (wtf?! I know) playing games like World at War, Modern Warfare, Far Cry 2 (ugh) and the likes. This insane streak ended with me simply passing out in the middle of a Modern Warfare match. Note, I only slept about an hour on the second night this was going on. I actually might have done a little damage on this one.

While I was at school, I got together with a group of friends for a LAN party a few times. The cause was usually an endless game of Empire Earth. Can't remember doing it since then. I've stayed up till 3 or 4am playing games, but not for long time.

Any strategy game usually causes this with me. I was up until 1Am playing Galactic Civilisations 2 last night and only stopped because I achieved technological victory. It would have been quicker if my allies the Yor hadn't gone into a war against me on the side of the Humans. But after I wrecked their economy and destroyed half their starfleet, they saw the value of a peace treaty.

Civilization II, easily. There have been many more since then - mostly Civ games as well. I'm not one for early nights. :D

Idk about you guys but when ive pulled an all nighter the game thoroughly deserved it (by definition to me at least is not sleeping at least until the sun comes up, meaning not going to bed at 4am but rather 3pm lol). Ive only done it for a number of games. Monster Hunter on the ps2, which i played from a friday night til sunday afternoon, that game was like crack. Morrowind and Cod4 are the only other 2. I have a good feeling Brink may fall into this legendary category (to me at least). What are some games that you enjoyed so much that you couldnt put down the controller even tho the sun was coming up? Hope to seem some answers other than WoW out there too lol.

Edit- Just noticed the topic name is for ur first one lol, my first is monster hunter but please feel free to share all your experiences

72 hours straight on the elder scrolls oblivion. i didnt even finish the main quest. just did a ton of side quests

Gads, many PnP episodes of AD&D, Twilight 2000, or Dark Conspiracy, the first one probably was somethign with AD&D c.1985.

My first computer allnighter would be the orginal X-Com game. I would have played the orginal Wizardry's after sunrise as well, except I was still in grade/high school and my parents wouldn't like to have seen me veg like that.

Not the first but it is the most memorable. With my friends, we played Halo 3 starting at 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM but this was a couple years back.

I've never stayed up "all night" per se. I have gamed from the time I got home from work on a Friday until 4am. Guess that's close enough. The game was Oblivion in the Spring of 06. I was so engrossed in exploring Cyrodiil for the first time plus it was my first exposure to an open-world Bethesda game. Looking back I can't believe how fun it was.

No way! That game was my first all-nighter, too. I remember playing and hanging out with everyone in the game and really just not giving a damn that the sun was coming up, again.

Just out of curiosity, what was your name in-game?

Also, playing AOE2 and Alpha Centauri were other games that I would often get stuck into and play til the early morning, or in some cases late morning if a war broke out.

Well me and my cousin used to play Starcraft until around 5:00am a couple of Fridays a week when I was in University.

After that I stayed up all night playing/beating Silent Hill 2. Started around 8:00pm and went until the morning.. Can't remember what time. I sometimes have the boys over if we don't want to go out and we just pick a few games and movies and stay up a all night and head out for breakfast the next day. It's getting harder to do as I get older. :snoring:

It was me and two other friends stayed up all night playing the Gauntlet: Dark Legacy game. It was brilliant.

Fallout 3, two years ago. After a long day of work at McDonald's, I toke a nice cool shower and play the hell out of it from doing quests to exploring the Capital Wasteland. Now, I play until 3AM because I get tired to easily now than the last past years.
