Your Game Style

Basically, the opposite of me, lol. Let's be teammates, hee!

I wonder how crazy fast this game will be. I hope I will be able to keep up with it. I'm going to heal/revive and cover/defend people whenever I can and stick to my team.
Otherwise, it might be too dizzying for me with 8 people per team running and gunning and ninja-ing around, lol! :D

alright teammates it is. get ready to fight. :toughninja:
I'll add you when psn is back up

should be okay for me, though if you're worried about the speed id go heavy or medium. big gun, so you move at a slower pace.

im not going to limit myself on just one role. i have plans to test / experiment all types and classes combined and so on. too see what class i enjoyed play the most.
im a team worker so i think im gonna start off as an medium/light medic/ engineer to support. i choose light because of the movement im not gonna focus on getting the most kills. more like helping my team.

Okay, hope to see you online, then. ^_^

Oh, no, no, it's more of the chaos of too many people moving and crowding around in the area making me feel a little disoriented (and maybe a tiny bit claustrophobic in small passageways?) than the actual speed of the characters. This plus my not-so-great-aiming skill can lead to.... friendly-fire situations (friendly-fire is default off, I believe?) or self-inflicted pain... :D

And the speed of the Light is fine for me---I play fast characters in most games anyway. It's the bodies of people everywhere around me, lol. The whole Operative disguising as teammates situation doesn't help either, lol! :ninja:

don't worry, you'll definitely see me on :liplick:

wow, sounds like some personal issue.. like you're going to have a seizure. it's ok no ones there to hurt you.. well in game yes.. Though if 8 on 8 almost gives you claustrophobia.. wonder what 32v 32 woudl do.. :/

I'm going to try out the challenges first, before jumping into mp. I want to hopefully get some unlocks before starting, so I might be able a jump on everybody else.

My game style personally is the Soldier, on front lines. I'm going to taking aim and placing my shots carefully, and take down the opposing force.

Oh, I don't have seizures (thank goodness), but I would definitely dread 32 vs. 32. (How does that even WORK, lol? That's a lot of people to keep track of! *brain explodes*)
I just prefer small groups, I don't know why.
Oh, yes, I am going to stick close to my team definitely. ^_^

yes thank goodness, im super glad I don't get them either. My hats off to those people that do. well i'd tell you how 32v 3 works if I can think of a game that has 64.. resistance 2.. but I never really play online. MAG has 128 per side. But you were more spreed across the whole map.
easy to manage would be my guess
Lol, stick closely. though I may bite if Its needed....

Hmph brink, how i want to play you.

i'm mostly the Medic type. But since there is this auto-healing in Brink unfortunately, i prolly won't play Medic too much. It will depend on how important those syringes are gameplay-wise.

Then i am normally not the sneaky Operative type, but two abilities i love so much: turret control and enemy turret hack. I guess i will play me some Operative for the sake of these two abilities alone. :D

In the end i guess i will play always which class is needed most in the moment. If we need heavies, i'm gonna grow me a belly. (we can change body types of a character right? Right?) If we need to blow tings up, i'm gonna change to souljah. That's one feature i adore about Brink, class changing on the fly without suicide. Totally suits mah stile. :hubbahubba:

Yeah, I remember long ago hearing that a game called MAG had like 100-200 or something ridiculous like that, lol. That's waaaaaaaay too much chaos for moi. :D

I think that the auto-healing takes time and it can only heal to a certain health "pip" amount. If someone wants to be FULLY healed and/or buffed, then he would need a Medic.

Regarding your question, yes, you can change body types of a character. Yes, your anorexic dude can eat lots of donuts to become the Heavy in no time flat, lol!

The autohealing takes time before it activates and only recharges to the max of your active pip (iirc).

Also, heavies bodytypes can go on a diet to become light again.

I'll be playing a Medium Medic (so I'm a M&M), my playstyle will be the "field medic", I'm like the reverse of ItalianDevil, I'll be fighting on the frontlines assisting the people who are doing objectives, my job will be to keep everyone on the up and up. I'd also be using a SMG to keep myself quick but not exactly Light(ning) quick, I plan on being the kind of fighter that will be assisting you in your mission and should you get incapped, I'll be 3 feet away throwing you a syringe. In other words, I'll be in the middle of the conflict.

start off trying to complete challanges,

then when I get stuck there I'll go online.

first I will die alot, and then when I unlock heavy bodytype I will die alot, but slower.

hopefully by that time my friends will have learned to throw revive syringes at me.

it's gonna be great!

can't wait to try the minigun

Combat Engineer. Turrets for fire support on the front lines, and mines to help protect our command posts, which I will be buffing. And of course golden guns all around. I like being supportive, but at the same time I also like being in the thick of things. The only reason I chose Engineer over Soldier was because I like being able to deploy little mechanical assistants. "Just like havin' another soldier on the field!"

My game style?

Well, hmm, I think I will play single player to get the hang of the basics first and unlock the Heavy/Light to get a feel for those and get the customization options (especially the Eel!). Maybe do
some challenges (maybe I can find some people to co-op with?) to get some practice and unlock a couple of weapon goodies.

Then, I hope to go online and co-op with a someone or even with a random group from time to time on the weekends or whenever I'm free. ^_^ (Hopefully, I can find some peeps from this forum!)

Now, gameplay-wise. Hmm... It really depends on how the game works, really.

I'm one of those who like to stay with a party member or two at all times---like a Buddy System, lol: You got my back and I got your back---and keep healing/reviving dead peeps I come across.

Depending on the FPS game, I could be a hit-and-run backwards into cover kind of sissy gal or I could be a suicidal, panicky, but aggressive fighter gal, lol.
I really don't know until I get the game. There are many variables.

It really depends on how the fast the character moves, the map, my teammates, how the opponents play, the current mission, etc.

For example, in offline co-op Borderlands, I would go invisible and run forward and damage the strongest guy possible and bring the gunfire towards myself while my sister would pick them off from a distance with her rifles, while in Halo: Reach, we would try to separate and flank the bad guys from both the front and the back. In Call of Duty.... um.... well, I just run around and find cover and move around and try to flank enemies while sidestepping behind cover---oh, and grenade spam whenever I could, hee. :D In Gears of War, I just stick behind cover, move around and shoot enemies in the back.

....Once I think about it, I'm a "flanker" (is that a real word, lol?) kind of gal, lol!

But basically, I'll be sticking with the group at all times or sticking near someone who's doing an important objective and try to defend (or cover?) him while healing/reviving nearby peeps from time to time.

PSN: Sanderz_69 add me and we can play cuz i like your play style sticking together and all that pretty much how i am =]

When you are the light character, you have less supply pips and therefore can't heal/build turrets as frequently as a heavy or medium. heavy engies are gonna be the support role bosses, and flying ninja medics will also do well.

what i could see in the videos it takes only like 3 seconds to activate auto-heal, which fills up your pip in a flash. And when you are unbuffed, your "pip" is your large main health bar, so even this huge portion is getting replenished way too fast for my taste. But ok ok, i will stop moaning and will play Medic anyway. I mean, is there anything cooler than self-revive. :toughninja:

Thanks for the info, that's great. If this only would work in RL too! I am an anorexic dude and can eat TONS without gaining a singel gram, this is very weird. But again, i better stop moaning, most people would perhaps die for my "problem" lol.

I will be heavy, mostly defending positions and laying down covering fire. most likely engineer, so i can have extra firepower with turrets AND mines... god, im gonna be like a one-man wall of china... :chaos:

that sounds quite scary. :cold: May i be in your team and crouch under your turret please! :spotted owl:
Too bad we don't see here in forums on which platform everyone is playing...perhaps i make me a leetel sig for this. :deal:
