Odd quiz, several of the questions had answers that were way too similar to discern, but...

Support: The lifeblood of your team's Defensive and defensive efforts, you often serve the role of 'Johnny-on-the-spot' with supplies, healing respawn, or preventative defense measures. You're also the sniper protecting a critical resource or location...

100% Team oriented
77% Organized
The rest were between 20% and 40%

I've found the perfect video to describe my play style. But it's a little long so here's this one instead. Half the length, same basic concept. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oA_uYh3_Uwo

The perfect one is the prequel to that video.

That quiz gave me "Support", that actually sums me up well. I like to be the person to assist, If person call me a noob for not having many kills, I tell them to check the post-game stats, and see my assists (Which may have saved them in match).

I'm planning on playing Brink, as a Medic, as a Medic is supposed to be played:

Getting up your buddies, even while risking your a$$ in the line of fire. Whilst shooting at your enemies, obviously.

I will play as a light engi who lays turrets where only lghts can get to so that the light ops can not get in my base easily, I will also place mines at the places lights are likely to use to get in my base.

I will first play the challenges to get a feel for the maps and unlock some of the weapons and customization options.

By the way where is my turtle? :unsure2:

Kind of a flawed system cause turrets are only a support tool, in which case they dont do much damage. And theres also the fact that light bodies can outrun a turrets line of fire........

I disagree with the majority of the responses to that particular tactic. Turrets do a fair amount of damage (not instant killers, not constant fire, but decent damage over time) and while a light can "outrun" the fire if he's prepared to do so not all lights are going to be in constant motion. If the turret is positioned in a high spot that is more easily accessed by lights catching them as they climb up could prove a very useful approach.

Seconding this, and adding a "what if"

What if the light is in a hard-to-reach narrow corridor that doesn't give them dodging room? - we don't know enough about the map layouts to say this isn't going to happen.

Apparently I'm like The Commander, after taking a quiz.
Description:
Ever the strategist and a consumate leader, you're the puppeteer behind the scenes, guiding your toy soldiers to victory.
"I love it when a plan comes together."
Even though I don't lead as much as I'd like.

-A few of the statistics aren't very accurate but, its close enough.-
(100% Organized)
(49% Team Oriented)
(9% Patience)
(4% Social)
(11% Thoughtful)
(19% Devoted)

Edit: http://www.gamerdna.com/quizzes/fps-multiplayer-playstyle-quiz

Nice quiz (even though gamerDNA sometimes makes comments at my answers, lol).

I got: Your gamerDNA is: Support

The Support motto: "Together we stand; divided we fall (Behind every great soldier is great support)" Description: The lifeblood of your team's Defensive and defensive efforts, you often serve the role of 'Johnny-on-the-spot' with supplies, healing respawn, or preventative defense measures. You're also the sniper protecting a critical resource or location...

Organized: 65% (Really, lol?) ("There is always time to make a good plan")
Patient: 9%
Team-Oriented: 100%!! Over 9000!!
Agile: -14% (Apparently, I prefer power over speed, lol.)
Social: 16% ("Would rather engage in conversation than battle"--Oh, wait, how did you know that, quiz?!)
Devoted: 29% ("Takes the train to the last station"--whatever that means, lol).

I got 100% team orientated with 0% in every other aspect.... is that even possible.

I'm team orientated but yet i'm not organised... i would have put those hand in hand.

I'm team orientated but apparently not social in any way. Erm.... kinda need to be social to be team orientated. (apart from on brink obviously, where they have the god disc)

I guess its cause i didn't put much effort into answering the questions, i will redo it and see if i get anything different if i actually think more about it.

So with the quiz retaken and i actually thought about my answers this time. This is my result

Shock Trooper

Motto: "Prepare to meet your doom (Damn the torpedoes -- full speed ahead!)"
Description: We don't have to tell you that you are comfortable leading any attack. Bullets and glory my friend. Your intention is to penetrate enemy defenses and attack into the enemy's vulnerable rear areas. Yes... we know how that sounds.

Stat breakdown :
Organised: 33%
Patient: -41%
Team Orientated: -100%.... this one i actually disagree with, everybody i play with says that i'm a great team player. I will penetrate lines and then unpenetrate lines just to help my team out. If somebody needs me, i'm there.
Competitive: 75%
Physical: 75%
Devoted: 33% - I'm not sure what this one means, but i wouldn't say i'm not devoted. I will stick at what i'm doing if i'm certain it can get results. I also don't just give up on games because "the new thing has come out" If i like the game i will still play the game.

So overall that fits me, the patience one i totally agree with, I'm not a very patient person, or at least i'm patient but jumpy. I CAN wait for things, but its difficult to do. Its not cause i never learnt to be patient, i just struggle with patience cause of a few problems i have, but hey, nobody is perfect right :P

Yokudan, as a lone wolf flanker (although 'lone wolves' are sort of frowned upon, flanking is definitely important), there are some options: (I'm presuming you're light).

Soldier would be the most self sufficient, with his ammo (as long as you can resupply yourself, which I think may not be possible). Otherwise, he can have more armor and use grenades.
Operative would be useful for certain objectives and good behind enemy lines because he can disguise.
Engineer would be great for flanking, as you can plant mines and place turrets across enemy routes etc., like a very well equipped guerilla.
Medic would be pretty stupid to be a lone wolf as. I suppose you could revive yourself, but other than that...

Obviously the top three can also complete certain map-related objectives (Medic's would be escort-related so not really a loner thing).

I enjoy playing defensively or giving support fire.

My classes of choice will be the Engineer and Medic, both will be heavy.

Why go out and enter the enemy territory, just waiting to get stabbed in the back, when you can wait for them to come to you in yours?

I usually set up camp RIGHT at the objective.

You mean my team from TF2? seriously, just to mess around we'd all go medic and rush in with bonesaws, healing each other. lulz ensued, and we usually one. good times.

Thanks for the lookout but I've pretty much made my decision. Although I agree that my playstyle in other shooters (Halo) is a lone wolf, thats only because our main objective is to kill. Whenever I play capture the flag or another game that has an objective besides killing I can be an excellent teammate: I communicate well, I'm unselfish, and I'm a pretty good tactical anolyst. In short in regular deathmatch I'm a lonewolf/flanker only because my teammates get in my way ( but don't confuse this with being selfish I'm still helping my team as a distraction).

P.S Does armor actually offer additional protection or is it purely aesthetic?

I got Recon in that test, but after hearing the Support description I guess I'm half'n'half of both. I guess it shows more in MAG where I was an officer of one of the game's largest clans, I found I could go on total killing sprees or go supportive depending on what the rest of my clanmates were up to. Whereas in BC2 I tend to have to take the Recon route since I'm playing with randoms, and I often have to instigate pushes or flankings.
