What?

I'm not even going to get into it here, but believe me I have my reasons. Lots of them (Diablo 1 and 2 are classic masterpieces of art and I have spent way too much time playing them).

Fallout New Vegas was a big let down for me. I spent a sickening amount of time playing FO3, and New Vegas didn't even come close. Don't get me wrong, NV was better than a lot of other games, but its world was what I hated. It wasn't really too small for me, but its locations is what got me. They claimed to have more locations than FO3, and they did, but there were almost no locations that where worth going to. Thats what I liked about FO3, there were so many places that you could go in for a long time, and they had three or four cells each. NV didn't have hardly any of those. I think I have played like 150 hours, and I have no desire to play anymore.

Crysis 2 was utter crap

Wait what. The game isn't even out yet and you're saying it's crap because of a multiplayer demo? Something is wrong here.

Disappointments:
FO3.
Fable 2.
ME2. (Still a fantastic game.)

Mafia II. All I was hoping for was the ability to save whenever you wanted and more action, like the demo led me to believe there would be. Turns out it is a Mafia simulator, if I wanted to drive a drunk friend home from a party I could just do that in real life. I have no idea why they included these types of missions in a game.
Black Ops. They did some cool stuff, but broke more than they added.
APB for lack of support, though I still got my money out of it.

Don't crucify me; but I didn't like Bioshock 2 much either.. The first one was really good. Atmospheric, creepy, unique, the works. I didn't like the second one nearly as much. Story was good, but the first story was better, IMO..

Why crucify you ? No one liked BS2. It wasnt needed.

Not that many to be honest. I don't have high expectations on what the game might be like. I just install and play the game and see if it manages to hold my interest.
Perimeter was a game that sounded good but was mostly crap. I quickly came up with a design where I was able to have the shield up 24/7.
Rome: Total War was just boring.
ValuSoft is a "developer" of pure [censored] in my opinion. Their so-called games are lacking in any and all instructions and you literally have to re-start a level 50-60 times before you figure out what to do. And each game is a clone of the other and the next. I have gone so far as to blacklist the whole company. If it caries the ValuSoft name and brand I'll drop-kick it across the garbage pile like a hot piece of coal. This includes Beer Tycoon and the Prison series any any other piece of crap they have spewed out.
Hellgate: London didn't disappoint me but I felt it could have been so much more and better than it was.

Edit:
Morrowind
Mafia 1
Final Fantasy 6 & 7
Super Mario 64
Chrono Trigger
Deus Ex
Half Life
Starcraft
Civ 4

DUDE! Seriously? Not judging but I'd like to know why, if you please?

The most recent one that comes to mind for me is Mass Effect 2. I absolutely loved the first Mass Effect, but after playing the second one for several hours I just can't get into it.

I wonder if it was because EA has publishing rights over it.

Wow. How the hell?

Edit: On second thought; I get it. When you hear so much hype about something, you think that it's going to be incredibly awesome. If it turns out to be just awesome instead, you're still disappointed.

Alright, you're safe. :P

Yeah gotta agree with everyone who has said New Vegas. I absolutely loved the crap out of Fallout 3 and have played it loads. New Vegas was great at the beginning but it does just feel like a huge expansion pack. I just got so bored and haven't even finished the main quest. I don't think the MQ is very fluid either. I've finished one aspect of it but there's no real indication of what to do next. Meh.

Assassins Creed. I bought it because it was £5 and my friend went on and on and on about it. Played for about 5 minutes and got bored - just not my kind of game at all.

Epic Mickey. I bought it but ended up feeling a bit sick and queasy because of the camera angle. Eventually sold it.

Just tried the Gothic 4 (Arcania) demo on the 360. What a mistake it was. It doesn't run very well on the xbox, it's clear that it was made for the PC and they didn't bother to do a proper port.

Whats more, the graphics are actually really bad. They look good at a first glance, but when you look closely you can tell that the developers have been really lazy with the graphics. All the technology they need to make it look great is there, they just haven't bothered to do them properly. I haven't seen water that ugly since the nineties...
