Your "get ready" check list.

So, in preperation of tonights BIG event.. spent a little time this afternoon marking off my checklist.

1. Costco 300$ of muchies, drinks and coffee. DONE
2. Gas full tank ready to go at 11:30 pm. Nothing worse than getting the game and having to make unecessary stops along the way.
3. Reciept and call conformation my copy is ready at Gamestop DONE
4. Housework and Laundry DONE
5. Smokes and 3 bottles of Cab DONE
6. Friend notifications Unavailable for the next week for everything other than emergencies. DONE

all set to go!. Now all I need is the time to pass, one very slow hour ata time.

Still in making, but it be hard to choose fallout online or Star wars the old republic.....
Hard choice but I think I would go toward Star wars, since I been a huge fan of that much longer than fallout :o
Tho fallout online....kinda ruining the single player game type which star wars did after Knight of the old republic sith lord... :facepalm:

2) Call gamestop confirm midnight release

3) diet red bull

4) roll a big fat joint for the opening scene

5) jug o' water (gotta stay hydrated even in IRL mode :) )

Pre-Launch Checklist:

Finish art studio walls and floors for wife - Done
Finish major projects at work so bosses are happy. - Done
Schedule "Vegas" vacation with work. - Done
Pre-order copies for Mike, wife and myself. - Done
Learned my GameStop is a midnight release sight, cheering. - Done
Finished all house chores, loaded up on groceries - Done
Set the expectation with everyone on just how important this is, so they all leave me alone (at least for a day). - Done
Get cool new Fallout New Vegas coasters: FAIL!
Get happy with steam, installed, ready: Pending.

Ready to go!

Post-Launch Plan:

Drop game off for Mike
Try not to speed going home (really don't need a ticket tonight)
Install Game.
Fire up the GECK, check out the new interface.
Unpack the BSA's and determine how lucky/unlucky I was with models transferring from Fo3.
Post initial findings to the forums while waiting for 3AM EST.
Then, off to Vegas!

1.Figure out character appearance and background (I'll figure out skills and traits on the spot)
2.Go to school
3. Get through school without thinking about fallout. (this is a definite fail.)
4. Complete after-school rehab without think about fallout. (another definite fail.)
5. Go to Gamestop.
6. Read manual on way home.
7. Play Game! :celebration:
