If your going to the midnight release,

I've never gone to a midnight release, but I'd say 11:30pm would be a reasonable time.
Especially since where I live nobody has ever heard of the Elder Scrolls(nor MineCraft for that matter, it comes out the same day), so there wont be much of a line.

Depends on whether you mind waiting in line, you might as well show up right at 12 and wait in line.

But 11:30 ish is a good time if you want to mingle with other people.

For the GoW3 release, the guys at my store were talking about going up there at 9? I think that was to get your proof of purchase and a ticket number, though... I'm not sure. D:

I'll find out, though. Most def.

Why stay in your house when you can go out and meet those things called people?

Avoiding people is the reason video games were invented.

I didnn't say anything about downloading.

They have these amazing things called discs, where you don't need to download it.

Also, Xbox live is just so you can play online.
