He can't be THAT hard as people say. Just use Marked for Death on him, block his attacks with a shield for 20-30 seconds, then start slashing. By then his armor rating would have gone down enough to do significant damage

I love the fight with the Ebony Warrior. it's not hard but it takes a lot of hits to kill him. I tried to cheat once. I used unrelenting force to knock him off the mountain but when he hit the floor he got back up with full health. he was running up the mountain and I was running down. we met half way up the mountain and the fight went on for 10 minutes. He used his last potion and eventually I killed him.
Fighting Kaarstag is fun but it's annoying having such a small area to fight in.
Heh, he's the only one out of the family, and the only one in Skyrim that gave me any measure of difficulty.
Karstaag. That sigdis guy wasn't even hard at all.
Is he the one who likes to disappear and reappear in different places and has 2 fakes spawn every time he changes places?
if yes then he's the only one of the brothers I had a hard time fighting. If you have no HUD you don't know which one is the real one so you need to be careful and lucky. especially when you're at a higher level.
I don't have the DLC's that added in the big guys, so Elder - Ancient dragons are my toughest battles. 3000 health compared to my 100. Ouch!
I do it too.
It offers more of a challenge. it makes you think harder and be more tactical. no more running into battle like a mad man.
90% of my characters have never had 1 point put into stamina.
Even non magic characters get magicka only.
Same as Michael, it's exciting. I have three characters, all with 100 in health and no armor or magic resistance. But unlike Michael, I put my level ups into stamina - even my vamp who uses illusion. I like to sprint (essential really)! And I like Eagle Eye.
I play two of the characters on novice, my Hunter and my Vamp. My explorer, the only one I venture into the main quest with, and hence deals with dragons, is played on master. Even with her boosted long bow putting out 1700ish in damage it still takes several hits to down an ancient dragon and I'm dead if the dragon touches me once. Tough battle, Hagrid. Tough battle indeed.
Ain't too bad really. Deadly things kill you. Armored up, you could take a hit or two, Hagrid.
Just thought of another one, Hag's End
With no mods: The Ebony Warrior
With mods: Friggin Awakened Dragons from the Deadly Dragons mod.
Skuldafn was the hardest for me with all the damn Deathlords spamming shouts and ebony arrows.
They didn't say what sort of weapons/armor they use and how strong they make them
My warriors put points in health and stamina but use basic weapons and armor without magic, potions, or upgrading things to legendary and beyond.
