How far did everyone get in Beta and what are your experiences
I was 14, almost 15.
Compare my experiences to these facts:
I love the TES series, my favourite games are Daggerfall and Oblivion, my least favourite is Morrowind.
I played MANY MMOs, including WoW (the worst one I ever played), Neverwinter, D'n'DO, Regnum, Perfect World, SWTOR and my favourite was Ragnar?k Online (spent 7 years playing it, that game has overly good PvP features).
I loved the combat of the game, it felt smooth and good, although the reach of the weapons is too high.
The crafting system is.just.perfect.
The quest are just as good as any other TES game's ('cept for Skyrim, those were just shallow and boring).
The UI is clean and useable, although I will mod it to look and feel more like Oblivion's.
Overall, I will play this game and pay the sub-fee, which is just a miracle, that I even consider it!

I didn't rush through the quests, mostly exploring.
14, could have easily been pass that if I continued on with my beta character from last beta.
12...then started a new character, being an alt-fanatic in MMOs I can't help myself and can't stick to one character
I got to 10 with my Dark Elf, 8 with my Redguard and 6 with my Bosmer. Once I had the level 10 Dark Elf I could go fight PvP, so I made a couple more.
Level 18. Redguard Dragonknight.
Quests were well written and generally more interesting than other MMORPGS. Though sometimes the pacing was off and they felt a bit slow (and a few times a bit boring).
Found exploring to be overhyped in what it delivered to what people are expecting.
Crafting was great.
Group content has promise, though the thought of a PUG scares me a bit in them
UI is great, nice and clean.
Melee combat could use better animations and beefier sound assets to make it feel more substantial, it feels 'off' (moreso in 3rd than 1st person view).
General difficulty could be improved in the questing, dungeon seemed fine.
Watching some of these lvl 15+ youtube videos and they look like a lot of fun. I only got to lvl 8 so I didn't even see pvp. You normally don't see the potential of an MMO till at least half way to your max and with a lvl 50 cap we probably haven't scratched the surface. Better that way IMO, wouldn't want to spoil everything in beta, makes it more exciting when you play it at launch and get surprised.
Level 15 Wood elf Nightblade playing traditional Ranger/Rogue style
Level 14 Breton Sorcerer, playing Heavy Armor Tank
Level 10 Argonian Templar playing light armor dps/healer w/ resto staff
Level 10 High Elf Templar playing heavy armor classic 2hs Pally type.
I also had a level 9 Dark Elf Dragon Knight that I played in my first beta, that got wiped. I would like to re-visit that class again because it was a lot of fun, but I spent the next two beta weekends trying out different things.
They were all fun. I got to run through all three of the starter areas, played all three of the first dungeons, and PVP'd with all of them.
How was the Wood Elf in PvP. That's what I'm going for at launch, but it was a little boring in the low lvls
It was fun. They all were fun really. It is a good solid build role that easily applies to PVP. I liked having good range and damage. I felt like I could contribute anywhere on the battlefield. The melee builds were still fun, but given the unorganized nature of PVP, not having good comms and organization melee ended up with too much running back to the battle. Trying to get into the fight meant you were point blank with the enemy, probably out of heal range and having to dodge siege weapon attacks also.
Melee is a necessary role, and one that I think will benefit greatly from being in an organized guild that communicates and has strategy.
I was only able to get to level 9 with one character. Reason being I got wrangled into doing some unpayed labor over the weekend and just didn't have as much free time as I normally do.
It was kinda like if you got your wedding all planned out and everything bought or rented that needed to be, and then you find out that you had scheduled it to take place on Superbowl Sunday.
lvl 17 Khajiit Nightblade
lvl 6 high elf templar
lvl 6 dark elf templar
lvl 6 (cant remember, breton i think) templar
Level 14 on main, level 6 on an alt I made because it was hopeless queues in the 5-15 area in the last beta.
Got to 21 on my High Elf sorc ... I was doing a lot of pvp and quests in Cyrodiil.
Ha, same here, except I was only 13. Templar for the DC. Had 3 quests lined up but all were bugged. Decided to just log and work on another character.
