We've all been there, we've all somehow failed a quest, either on purpose or through accident.

So what was the reason you last failed a quest?

I'll start with mine, because it is what prompted me to make this thread.

So I'm supposed to guard a magical katana for the mages guild. I wait until the appropriate time, and out comes FIVE thieves from the thieves guild! Who then threatens to leave my tongue at the door as an example of why you shouldn't mess with the thieves guild.

First thought: THAT is some seriously aggressive thieves! what happened to no killing Goodheart Robin Hood Thieves guild from the future games!?

Second Thought: THAT is some seriously lousy sneaking, bunch of amateurs!

Third Thought: OH SHI-! *fight*

Anyways, So I battle the bastards, and barely manage to kill them all. I then forget I'm not in a dungeon, and decides this is probably a good time to take a nap. Next thing I know, "HALT! HALT!", what a load of mudcrab, I've got 2 hours left I need to be on guard duty! I run over to the quest giver, hoping I'm done and will get paid, only to be given the "would you like to surrender to the guards?" option....FUUUUUUUU!

I had to flee from an imp who zapped me with a spell and left me with like 1 health. I immediately recalled to the entrance, then thought it was meh to continue, and abandoned the mission.
