But back to those god-awful Cazadors. I don't understand how anyone could call them easy. I'm talking about taking them on the non-wussy way. Anything is easy when you have a Sniper or Anti-Material rifle and you're blasting at it from a hill from far away. But when you're within a short (to them) flying distance, with a gun, they're gonna [censored] you. Even when it's just three, which is a relatively small pack from what i've encountered ( up to eight ). They're so over-powered in this game, even more so then Deathclaws, which are insane as well.
It's all about whether you have decent/good aim (guns) while you're backpedaling.
They're impossible (for me a least) to get a bead on from a distance (not using vats) because of the way they flit and flap at 300mph, but if you aim/start shooting from a distance before they see you, you'll eventually hit one (to get their attention) then they make ok targets as they're flying essentially straight towards you. Aim at their wings, don't worry about killing one before shooting at another, just get all their wings, they fall down, you get to finish them off mostly at your leisure. Something like This Machine or anything with decent dps/fire rate works. Some like flamers but eh, I don't bother, don't like carrying one around.
But it is about half luck (plus aim skill) when you're real-timing it, sometimes they get to you first and get in a hit or three, so I'm not trying to say they're super easy every encounter. Once you're familiar with them tho, it's not too hard unless (as always) they take you by surprise or you attract more than 3-4 at a time. And I'm sure in melee it's tougher since you can't avoid their strikes/poison when you have to be close to bash them...might have to actually use some antivenom, heh.
Lakelurks...you can usually time and dodge their sonic blasts, but if one of those does hit you, yeah, it hurts.
