I usually like playing an all-rounder but I don't know think that will be so viable in Skyrim so i'll probably go with Warrior first time around.

I want to play a mage werewolf, but that depends whether lycanthropy is in and if magic is a moer viable battle option this time (which so far seems the case with the new magic system).

As for which I 'hate'...none really, though I went with warrior because I just find them a little dull in comparison to a mage or thief.

Either an assassin, or some sort of ranger type; marksman as been my favorite skill since Arena.

I think this comes mostly from me being an archer in real life.

I've also grown to love mages recently; esspecially the Witchhunter class.

I like warriors. I hate thiefs. Mages are also cool.

Definitely thief or assassin. Playing with finesse seems like the most skilful to me and therefore the most appealing. My least favourite would have to be a mage but mainly because I was a bit soured to them in OB. I expect to play every character type in Skyrim as I have in the previous two games.

I'm gonna jump in with a Mage, as they're my favourite.

Hopefully the combat system will inspire me to try and combat char.

Mage is by far my least favorite. I'll play a combo warrior/assassin.

I normally try a thief/assassin who sometimes experiments with illusion/destruction magic (and alchemy, I play as a wood elf you see) first. And then a pure, high elf mage second time through. I'd rather play Elder Scrolls: Redguard than play as a warrior in Skyrim tbh.

I'm always technically a Jack-of-all-trades but generally I play as a mage/assassin. Spells in TES are useful for any character, so I don't see why anyone would hate magecraft. Sneak attacking and poisoning with enchanted weapons from a distance, casting the occasional spell from medium to close range to disable or confuse enemies, and when push comes to shove I'm forced to take out my sword and shield fighting on the defensive. Because I use enchanted weapons on strike, I like using a dagger for the quickest output. Perhaps I'll dual wield daggers in Skyrim.
Wouldn't it be cool if you could sneak attack with two weapons at once? :ninja:
Oh, I guess I dislike the warrior style because it seems like a foolish way to fight. Why cause a fight when you could persuade the opposing side to an agreement? Also, isn't it better to plan out your victory so you can win before an encounter is made? Fighting toe-to-toe should be a last resort IMO.

I love playing as a thief/assassin mix. It's a more tactical play style than a hack and slash warrior imo. Lurking in the shadows, planning your strikes to be one or two hit undetected kills was always fun for me. I never really used magic much, but I'd give a mage a try in my second character (which won't happen for a while because of all the content to experience with the 1st).

i also like assassin for stealthy kills and more tactics.
i ALWAYS play as a straight warrior first though, so that i can get adjusted to the combat. so that i'm more durable and etc :P
