Unfortunately, he was swallowed whole by the Mojave. At least that's how I rationalized his end. Technically, he was the victim of a corrupt save. Normally I keep multiple saves, but had just deleted all but one save for that character, unfortunately, it was corrupt. I tried recreating him once, but the magic that made him special was gone.
