In your opinion, Best body mod (Stable as well)

I kinda like the Versitilty of Ozmo's, you can have differant selections for each Race..., comes with an EXE installer, I picked a set into a dummy folder and put it in a Bain package... :hubbahubba:

Only if you want the armor to look as though it fit the body type - if you don't mind vanilla looking armor hanging on an HGEC waif then you are ok.

Do you have a multi-enchantment mod that works? I mean, one that would allow four equivalent enchantments if a piece of gear took up four slots?

For me, 'http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8862' worked well(though you have to enchant your gear normally to give it its own FormID first). Combining this with 'http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2179'(cheat version) and UI Tweak like http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2917 or http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17284, you can even make cheat items in-game(Note: This multiple enchantment mod modifies normal enchanting altar script, so it may not work with other vanilla enchanting altar modification).

Oh Ozmo's. Yeah that is great (have it myself.) It's not a body mesh changer though, it's skin texture replacement. Put that over the HGEC body of your choice, and it's brilliant! :goodjob:

I prefer the F-INevOblivion skinset for EVE females.
Then Luchaire/slof for the cats and Argonian Beautification for the lizards.
Throttle kitty slightly gaunt for the head meshes.
Uglier orcs and a few others.

Now with the latest Wrey Bash I see options for Better Redgaurds - does this finally make using Better Redgaurds with other mods easier? Is it finally automated?

[edit] and oh yeah the UI is of course Darn UI Dark (or is it Dark UI Darn?)

Personally, I would say that the *best* body mods for Oblivion are Bab Female and Roberts Male. I've used EVE HGEC and Bab, for various reasons each time, along with Roberts.

But ultimately, it is a matter of taste. Always. Yes, so long as they all work, etc. Of course. :)

well since my thread is still going on...

How do I know if HGEC is working?

I installed it via omod, load up oblivion but it doesnt seem like the test female char i'm making has it...

(no i'm not a pervert, but I did undress her just to test)

And yea its not workin it seems, because she has a bra and underwear on, the vanilla kind

Do you have Archive Invalidation applied? If not or you don't know, press the utilities button on OBMM, select archive invalidation, select the "universal" option, andd press both the "reset BSA timestamps" and the "Update Now" button and try again.

For me it's HGEC for Oblivion and Type 3 for Fallout 3. I think they are the best looking and supported replacers.

Oh, UIs. Forgot about those. :)

DarkUId DarN, every time. I almost couldn't play Oblivion (or FO3*) without some kind of DarN these days. In fact, ever since discovering the original DarNified UI (which is also awesome, naturally, but a little bright for my games).

And DarkUI is pretty, and soothing, but way too chunky. Hence, the blend is perfect (for me).

* And for FO3, the Readius as well. But anyway...

I use DarkUI too, playing without a DarnUI would be darn inconvenient :D For Fallout 3 i'd use the readius too, but the F1, F2 and F3 shortcuts don't work with it, and i had some other problem with it too.. Good old Pip-Boy for me :)

Huh. Just tested that particular function, along with everything else it should do, and it's all fine.

But I suppose this is getting way off track, so...

Ah good, it was propably something i messed up then. Have to try it again when i return to Fallout. But yes, back on topic..

Eyecandy Variants Expansion mods are also a good reason to stick with HGEC, as they offer support for many mods, not just the default armors.

I use DarN's dark interface and love it. Simple, stable and wonderful.

I installed the HGEC omod and had no problems with that. Also simple and worked well. My char is a petite wood elf (I have even dropped her height some); HGEC allowed for smaller hips and a modest cup size and that worked fine. The problem was, most of the clothing etc defaults to those D/E cups. Buffy got tired of trying on a new outfit and looking down to see boobs instead of her feet, lol.

So, I installed BAB instead (an omod compilation version). That also works perfectly. The nice thing is that all the clothes and such for it are made for her more slender body. Even her hands are more dainty with BAB. A Xena Warrior Princess might do well with HGEC, but my little Buffy prefers BAB.

Ok, enough rambling. With all that said I can certainly recommend DarN and either HGEC or BAB (depending on your character and tastes) as wonderful mods that are stable as well. All I know how to do when it comes to using mods is create an omod and install it - so if they work for me, they can't be too complicated, lol.

Robert's Female all the way. It's got support for vanilla (of course), OOO, Anequina, and a host of other stuff.

For UIs: Phinix DarkUI, which is based on Birdy's DarkUI.

I specifically use Darnified UI because ObXP required it during its first iteration.

Original Dark UI by DarkBirdy - I love the color. I was disappointed when I found that DarkUIdDarn was off a few shades, and the pattern was not as much to my liking either.

I play with Immersive Interface as well. Playing without these two mods...not an option.
