» Wed Mar 20, 2013 1:03 am The first (and probably the last) COD i ever bought/will ever buy was BO2 and i have no idea why it's so overpraised by all it's fans. I had it since Christmas eve and i sold it for ￡22.50 on Ebay a week or so ago. This is my personal opinion of the game.
The good stuff:)
Good weapons (just the concept of the idea, the actual ones were ruined)
Good range of guns
Good maps (just the concept of the idea, they were ruined as well)
Zombies
Pistol dual wield
Emblems (although the limited layers were irritating). I ended up making the modern Linkin park sign, the blue and red hunter/multiplayer helmets, the terminator carrot (one of my avatars) and a messed up trial skeleton holding a type 25 and B23R.

The extremely irritating 'press X (on ps3) to climb up'. What was wrong with a good old grapple?
The lag. Having said that i know some crysis players are getting some lag too (i have that problem, but it's not the games fault, it's my 2 to 3 bar connection).
Boring campaign with no proper story.
The amount of stuff they have copied from crysis: the rubbish cloak in the campaign, the carrier map (from crysis 1 the,final mission) time setting.
Campaign/Story:
I only played until mission 2 or 3 and from what i'v seen it's not that good. It has no set story and it doesn't make you see/play it through, but what really ticks me off is the fact that they copied the cloak from crysis and have absolutely flopped it (the cloak in the original crysis was better).

Multiplayer:
The multiplayer for me was too easy (even hardcoe). The tiny maps had no tactical opportunities and the fact you couldn't just grapple was more annoying than the sound you get every time you get killed or run out of energy in crysis 2. Also if you were getting shot from behind you had no chance of living due to the fact that 3 or 4 bullets will kill you and you don't have time to turn around, because by the time you do you will be sprawled on the floor drowning in your own poll of blood. That is why any crysis vets will be good at COD, the worst they can be is mediocre unless they play against the ultimate addict.

Zombies:
This is the only mode that kept me from selling it sooner than i did. At the beginning it was OK, then it started to get better and now it's complete rubbish.I am/was a decent player, i wasn't an addict or a noob. The selection of maps lets this mode down though and the fact that Trearch expect all the brain-washed people to buy their pointless DLC is even worse for whatever is left of this mode's reputation.
