I will either be in there streight off the bat or from DLC, either of which I'm happy for, the mega-house DLCs were usually completely awesome.

I choose to have a giant castle made out of tower- which in turn are made from smaller castles. jk
Wizards tower was cool, but it seems like they didn't do much to it. I loved Battlehorn Castle but I hope Skyrim has an amped up version.

In Oblivion I Loved the Wizards Tower and Battlehorn Castle DLC, If their is anything like this is Skyrim Post your ideas
I Think it would be cool to have an actualy Castle with a Throne room, But the wizards tower wouldnt really work seeing as alchemy was a big part of it and alchemy is now in the sneak skill set :(

Well since your character is the last dragonborn there is always the possibility of becoming the new emporer after the main story.
If not, they'll most likely put a castle into a DLC (or something).

I think it's more likely that Dragonborn becomes the King of Skyrim than all of Tamriel. Of course, who really knows as we have no idea what BGS plans to do with TES after this installment. Considering the prophecy will finally be complete (as far as we know), this could be a completely new chapter for TES.

I loved being able to have dead creatures mounted in Battlehorn Castle, and the hidden quest.

I also like houses being made for various character class types in Oblivion. What I didn't like was having all your mail suddenly catch up with you in the Imperial Sewers as you escaped.... That's always pretty silly. I mean, where the heck would I have overheard a rumor that there's a hidden cave near Anvil? Baurus sure didn't tell me. Now, I realize if you've been playing just one character through the entire game and added the DLC as they came out the concept of randomly appearing mail and rumors probably worked. But, when you start a new one.... :shakehead:

I never downloaded Battlehorn, but I did have the Wizard Tower. I have to admit, I was a bit underwhelmed. There was just so much vast emptiness that the place felt poorly designed to me. If they do have something like that, I would prefer to get something that required me to work for it, or earn it, and that would feel like they had spent a bit more time working on it.

I loved Battlehorn Castle in Oblivion, but what I didn't like about it was how it was aimed at Warrior Characters when I perferred a mage. I would love another castle to be ownable in Skyrim but have it balanced out so any type of character can live there. In fact the most grand house you can buy in the game should be a noble's castle.
