Steel plate looks ok, but wayyyy tooo common, I mean your the dragonborn... cmon.
That's precisely another reason why I wear Leather armor (apart from looking just awesome)...being Dragonborn, plus being the leader of xxx factions, plus doing all the awesome stuff you do is already 'uncommon' enough. At least for we roleplayers.
Companion 'Wolf armour'. I keep that even when I can have ebony, just really like the way it looks, besides I'm the Harbinger I shoulod where their faction armour. I just smith it to Legendary status and take the Juggernaut perks.
I gotta say, I'm not a fan of any of the helms really. I do like the Ebony, Dragonbone, Dragonscale, Steel (shoulderless), Leather, Dwarven, Orc, and the Thief armor.
I've taken a liking to the Whiterun armour, and have worn it since virtually the beginning (now level 42 or so) and am currently wearing it with Nordic steel gauntlets (love the pattern), the steel cuffed boots and the Ancient Nord helmet - these suit my Nord character fine.
But I also like the look of the Ebony armour and will probably wear that for my next Knight-type character, though I'm looking forward to seeing a Steel texture of it in a mod.
I like the look of robes best, wish I could wear non enchanted clothing over armor just for aesthetics.
Pauldrons on a lot of the armors are just too big, looks bad on an archer since your face clips into them when you draw a bow. I play in first person most of the time but it still bugs me for some reason. Wish there was a light armor I liked, 'cause unarmored+alteration really svcks compared to armor w/perks.
I like Ebony best of the craft-able armors personally.
To all those who wear ebony heavy armor, how do you deal with the god awful clipping? (around the neck area) Especially if you walk around with no helm, theres a very obvious black line around the neck

I actually like that. Makes it look like he's wearing some type of black shirt underneath. I think it makes the armor look more complete, like a tie on a suit.
