Full set of banded iron (with iron gauntlets and boots obviously), I edit their stats to what I would normally have access to so I can look good.

Ancient Nord all the way

FUUS RO DAAAAH!!!

Ancient Nord is really good choice. I liked it too, but I disliked to use it because my beard went through the helmet.

Iron armour, scaled armour, dragon scale, nightingale, steel plate, hide armour, elven armour. This is pretty much all I use. Even hide armour ain't too bad when you got 100 Smithing :)

Hooded Black Mage Robes + Gloves + Fine Boots:

http://i44.tinypic.com/91ktib.jpg

I experimented with wearing a ton of different armors and whatnot, and I enjoyed this setup the most.

On his back he has Ebony Arrows, Ebony Greatsword, and Ebony Bow. On his hip he has a Daedric Sword I got from killing some boss at the end of a dungeon. He's mainly been a Mage for most of his life, at least up until recently. Now he's working on his Block and 2-handed skills since all his Magic skills are maxed out and it's getting boring stunlocking everything with Incinerates.

I actually just picked up a full set of Falmer armor from a dwemer ruin, put it on, and it looks completely badass.

Care to share which ruin? I'm looking for boots and gloves.

My top 5:

1. Any Guard/Stormcloak Armor.
2. Ancient Nordic Armor.
3. Scale Armor, helmet-free with Horned Scale chest piece.
4. Steel Armor, with Horned Helmet and Nordic gauntlets.
5. Leather Armor, helmet-free.

Armor I DO NOT like:

Daedric - It just looks like it's trying too hard. I want to give it a pat on the head and tell it "better luck next time."
Nightingale Armor - See above.
Shrouded Armor - Ditch the tights, man. They're... not flattering.
Orcish Armor on anything but an Orc - Seriously, you just look like a wannabe Orc.

Steel Armor

And Steel Plate Armor. God, now that's what I call "Steel" and "Solid". Makes me look like Kamen Rider, or Ultraman

I think Orcish looks good with my Dunmer. Makes me think of Ashlander armors and something Nerevar would wear. He was a great Khan of Morrowind back then and the whole Orc Armor ensemble screams mongol imo. Falmer and Orcish helm look okay if you retexture the helm or falmer armor.

I like the Steel variants and Wolf Armor. Wolf Armor is awesome. Steel Plate ain't bad, but it doesn't have an opening for your mouth...I can only imagine FOS RO DAH in a closed helm... :bonk:

A guard once told me Orcish armor is strong and ugly, like the ones that made it.

He then took an axe to the knee.

I like a lot of the heavy armor. I like the Dragonplate armor since I am, in fact, a dragon slayer. I really like the steel armor as well. Orcish armor is cool, except the helm (yuck).

Daedric armor looks fantastic, but doesn't really fit my character at the moment.

As for light armor, most people like the Nightingale set. But I am not Batman, and don't wanna look like him, so I like Glass and Dragonscale.
