I didn't see a thread like this in the forum yet, and I know I'm interested to see... How have y'all decorated your homes? Do you own just one, or do you even live in a purchased house (maybe you live in a cave)?

What are some different roleplaying aspects you've used in decorating, buying, or maintaining your house?

My character currently lives in Cheydinhal. I have bowls of pretty gems situated around the rooms. A shambles skull as well. On the shelf in my bedroom I have very pretty ingredients. And a lot of amber and madness matrices. Drop one, and see how cool they look. The Amber Hammer Matrix is especially beautiful. I have it set up so it reflects the fire in the hearth.

EDIT: I pay taxes on my estate. This way I don't have insane amounts of gold, like every previous character. I actually work for a living, teaching marksmanship to Fighters Guilds all over the realm.

My character owns the Bravil house and has it nicely decorated but, in truth, tends to live more out of her saddlebags (mod) with her mare on the road and her portable campsite (mod). She also pays property taxes on her house like Big Daddy described above.
