Personally I think you will be being lead to your execution then a dragon will swoop down causing chaos and you will escape in the madness.

Yup. Possibly that Esbern bloke turns up to help you out too.

On your way to the gallows (or w/e they use to execute you) your escorting guard will slip on a banana skin and ..... Oh wait... No bananas :( :( :(

Todd already confirmed that dragons WILL NOT appear in the beginning of the game, so you're wrong. Sorry.

I wouldn't rule them out still appearing in the tutorial based on that statement, sure you wont be battling Dragons the first few quests.

I'm going to go with either electric chair or lethal injection.

I'm gonna vote for Privateer's Hold. Simply because that's like the hardest part of the entire series, and is just an intro.

I think right before the executioners are about to release the rope on the gallows, you do an epic dragon shout that stuns everyone and escape. There might be a chase scene with you stealing a guards horse and riding away into the wilderness, then you are on your own in the woods when you meet Esbern.

Another prison tutorial, its just an elder scrolls tradition I guess, plus the name of the character at quakecon was "Prisoner".

I think you will be on the executioners block and then wake up, even though last nights storm could wake you. Your companion will say he heard the guards mention youve reached morrowind and that he is sure they will let you go.

I don't really care what happens as long as their isnt a snearing dunmer *coughValenDrethcough* who shouts racist slurs at you as soon as you start the game. Valen Dreth was the only reason why I joined the dark brotherhood lol.

It has been confirmed that Esbern will save you. How? Most likely in the middle of the night.

It's the kind where you die! :D

It's Nordic, it's probably some bowflex guy with an epic beard and a big axe, with a small stub on a wooden platform. ^.^

Prison cell. Esbern unlocks the door and lets you out, says to follow him. Leads you to a secret cave tunnel while explaining you are the dragonborn and your on your own from there.

Esbern, a dunmer, and the player are being lead to the gallows. Just before, loud noises could be heard not to far away and a few guards are sent to investigate. Just before they string you up, a guard returns bloody saying someone is attacking them all alone and he's near invincible. All the guards go minus one, and quickly Esbern frees himself and kills the guard, and then frees the dunmer and yourself asking for your help in escaping. The dunmer of course is a fool bunded in pride and goes solo, leaving you and Esbern to escape.

After freeing yourself, you and Esbern split ways once he speaks of searching for someone. After learning a shout or two and killing some dragons, Esbern shows up wondering why in the world you never told him that you had super powers. He takes you to the graybeards where you once again run into the dunmer whom it turns out knows thumb.

[insert rivalry here]

Later when facing Alduin, you get warped back in time and find yourself infront of a rather familiar fort with a guard telling you to leave or die. You of course start killing everyone, and in doing so set yourself free. Once you kill your exicutioner, you exit the ripple in time and return infront of Alduin alongside the dunmer. You then have the option to sake the soul of the dunmer by killing him and then using that soul in order to seal away Alduin, you can use your own thus dooming yourself to death in order to seal Alduin, or you can pull off some magic mumbo life force jumbo and take parts of both you and the dunmers soul to seal Alduin away, but you loose the ability to use shouts for the rest of the game.

...crap, I let myself go way past the start. :sadvaultboy: I enjoy writing to much.

Losing the ability to shout?
No thanks.

Then kill the dunmer or give up your own life. I just want SK to actually have some moral choices instead of "this is good, this is bad, and against all odds or logic you can have your cake and eat it too without a single sacrifice".

I guessed that, but from the townsfolk banter with the woman and her son it seems like the idea of dragons is still pretty incredulous at the start so now I figure they won't show up until a bit later.
