Play Fo1, Fo2, Fo3 :fallout:, finish Dragon Age, watch Mad Max, and avoid any previews/reviews written in September/October.

Done and done (except for Dragon Age ~don't have it, and too busy playing Bloodlines, Painkiller, Serious Sam and Disciples 3 :) )

Im playing Alien Swarm and trying to get my 6th promotion and all achivements before NV comes out, because I know Fallout New Vegas will be consuming at least 90% of my gaming time for at least 3 months :D

All that under two months?
Man I'd have to speed-play in order to complete them all.

Idling time annoying americans on MW2 (man, they're so easy to anger) playing actual decent games when that gets boring (ah bioshock) and slowly chewing through Fallout 2...I ain't looking at any more info for NV, I want it at release and I'm gonna spend my sweet time with it, savour our relationship, I don't want to go all stalker on the poor thing, might get scared...

Some of you guys are really crazy for this game aren't you? I mean I'm looking forward to it, probably gonna be my goty by some way but not to the extent of y'all! Just hope it doesn't disappoint I guess ;)

Just finished the first 5 volumes of 'Wasteland'... Takes place in America 100 years after the 'Big Wet". Interesting take on social rebuilding.

I'm currently reading a compilation of post apocalyptic fiction, it's inspired me to start RPing in Fallout 3 again. I wish New Vegas, Sims 3 and LBP 2 weren't all coming out within a month of each other. At least LBP2 will be out in November, so I might just wait until Christmas for that.

Thing is, I really want to be around at the beginning for LBP2, but I also want to see what its like in NV at the same time as the rest of the forum.

This may sound extreme, but preparations for Fallout New Vegas Collector's Edition include renting out an actual underground vault in Nevada, quitting my full time job and divorcing my wife. This will allow for maximum free time without interruption of any kind. :obliviongate:

But seriously, I scheduled off the day after for a "FNV Day". Provided there's no delays. Fallout 3 was on time once it was set for October 2008. :celebrate:

Fallout 3 was actually the first game in 20+ years of gaming that I haven't grown completely bored with. A lot of it had to do with the giant map, tons of options and customizations, but mostly the enemies that can be scavenged, along with the repairable weapons and tons of hidden secrets and items to collect. Post apocalyptic worlds feel more "real" somehow for the current state of video game graphics. Total freedom really is what does it, but with the depth to back it up, unlike GTA4... IMO.

Just finished FO3 GOTY on PS3, what a nightmare that was. I should have paid the extra $10 for the 360 version. In the mean time I'm playing MW2, Bioshock (for the 21st time, not kidding) and Bioshock 2 (for the 7th time). Lastly, I've been watching ST: Voyager DVD's, I should be watching the final episode the night before FNV releases.

Well, I'm also looking forward to CoD Black Ops. It's actually looking way better than MW2. The whole character customization and multiplayer experience is just incredible.

+1 - working like October 19th is release day, when all I'm doing is converting things in preparation (lol).

Took vacation days from work, pre-ordered CE edition from GameStop, letting bosses know I am going to Vegas. :hubbahubba:

LOL! dude i may have to make an intervention in the obsession gets any more serious..

Me, I am probably going to a different engine to mod.... until TES5. then I'll be back.

Was gonna take time off work but alas I don't have a job. Am currently a man of leisure in the pay of her majesty or unemployment benefits so I'll have loads of time to catch myself on whilst taking the preparations too far.

mmmmm...... buttered wife....

I'm playing Fallout 3 again lately. I have a few unfinished games to get through (Mass Effect, Borderlands, Mirror's Edge, and Dead Space), but none of them captures my interest at the moment.

I'm also re-reading the Walking Dead graphic novel series in anticipation of the TV show on AMC this fall.

To be prepared? Ummm, I'm filling my freezer with frozen pizza, pocket sandwiches, baking cookies ahead and such so I don't have to do much besides be here and play the game.
