k got that out my system. (Don't worry their use is understood...its just...wow)
When the Trailer skirted its way out onto the screens I wasn't sure what to think, while it was a wealth of information both somewhat concrete and speculatory, it didn't seem like much. aye in coming months when more is revealed. the mindset is subject to change . I guess at the moment for me, Im a wait and see guy. even though this game atm is under a year from release.
When the hints of oblivion first came out, I exploded both mentally and physically (took a while to piece back together) morrowind was a masterpiece to me, four years prior to release bethesda erected a teaser sight, but it wasn't animated or anything. it just depicted a really badass individual surrounded by torrents of flame, I honestly thought this was Voyrn Dagoth returning, I know now its just a Dremora Lord fully outfitted but the experience was satisfying none the less. that teaser site with the Dremora is the Equivalent of the Skyrim Trailer now . because there are no gameplay trailers I didn't bring up the Face to Floor inducing gameplay trailers of their time into the topic .
My first view of morrowind was a character walking in the ashlands during a hailing storm of which still rivals todays weather effects , after which he came up upon a Dunmer warrior wearing what seemed like a Samurai face mask, of course the player promptly cut him down. what I find interesting now is....there was little to nothing shown in that 3-5 min video regarding anything else...but i was hooked without reservation
Care to share your thoughts of then and now? had you similar thoughts? what are your stances/feelings now towards Skyrim in view of Oblivion, and if even farther back Morrowind
