Nothing. I'm going to die a quick death in the first nuclear bomb dropped on my city.

-A Stargate with the coordinates to at least 50 habitable planets-
-A warp drive vessel-
-One of those signalling rings Ford Prefect had in HGTTG-
-Enough room to hang myself-

+1
Indeed.

Here's my story.
I will have a huge library with thousands of books and albums of Rock and Metal bands from all over the world. Also, there will be a room filled with Mankind's best video games ever to be made. and of course an armory with tons of functional weapons from different times in the history of mankind.
Oh, and of course living quarters for the people. which will be my family, my loyal followers and a bunch of hokers.

I know this is an old thread, but Twinkies. Only food that'll survive a nuclear holocaust.

Then at least take the effort of traveling just outside the city to watch the nuclear holocaust unravel and see the nuclear fireball plunging towards you along with your inevitable death.

-A small hydroponics greenhouse (good idea, whoever said that). Big enough to grow a small crop of carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, oranges, and apples. Maybe onions as well.

-A pantry FULL of canned meats, not store bought though. Stuff I canned myself (its not THAT hard, just tedious). Then other imperishable items and snacks such as some soda and bottled water, perhaps some fruity drinks.

-Another pantry full of liquor, prsn. Pain Meds, and lots of medical supplies.

-A 48" TV, set up with my 360 and PS3. With a [censored] load of games for each of course, as well as every movie I currently own (of which... there are many). Maybe some taped TV shows as well, as little Deadliest Warrior for some mindless dike-swinging fun.

-A medium closet to hold my Mosin, SKS, .22, 16 Gauge, .38, 2 bows, and my various swords, knives, and medieval weapons.

-Another closet to hold all my survival gear for the wasteland. Such as my survival suit consisting of dull colored but thick and protective clothing, backpack pre-packed with medical supplies and food for about 4 days.

-An ammo storage closet.

-A room for my wife and daughters and I to sleep in. Separate from the pantry, TV room, and gear room (ammo, guns, survival crap).

-A water purification pump.

-A radiation monitor leading up to the outside.

-As well as some sort of reliable radio.

I had an old Fallout shelter beneath my house when I lived in Florida. It was awesome, but of COURSE I move and had to take my survival plan with me. Oh well, my new house has a very nice tornado shelter. Better start converting it to a Fallout shelter!

Okay, you hear that bombs are going to fall, you have enough time to read your self in a shelter in your back yard. What would you have in your own vault, supplies, weapons so on. Share your ideas and lists! :coolvaultboy:

i would have the mega vualt door, then i would close it, forget to bring food, forget the password and eventually eat myself

people keep going on about weapons but if its just a private vault we wuld get bored pretty quickly and leave imo and everything outside will be dead, as in, dead, the only weapons you would need would just be like a hand gun incase the enclave gets you

Or you know, in case a mutated wild boar wants to eat your guts. Or you see a deer with its fur burned off but overall it looks okay to eat. But ya, you wouldn't need a gun at all...

The point is. Better safe then sorry.

Well, here it goes:
1. A safe vault (One like vault 101, except not crawling with radroaches).
2. A small farm to provide fruit and veggies to supply 15 people.
3. A whole shiz load of waterchips (You know what happened to vault 13) to purify water from a spring below the vault.
4. A Thermal-Heating system to power the vault and provide a constent temperature of 72F.
5. Three G.E.C.K's so I can build of prosperous city after 40 years in the vault.
6. A armory that provides enough weapons and ammo for 15 people. (Favor of: M4, M16,Fatman with 60 mini-nukes <---- Fun :> )
7. I would put 7 males and females into the vault along with me.
8. A mini dairy farm to provide: Milk, meat, and hides. (For clothing)
9. The vault will not be part of an evil experiment with vault-tec.
10. The vault will be located far out in the moutains, under granite rocks.
11. Three M1-Abrams tanks, along with a fleet of helicopters to defend my city against those dam Enclave.
12. I would provide a military base for the BoS, so they could help protect my city when it is constructed.
13. Enough Nuclear Missles to blow up the Sun, if my city fails and I'm about to die.

Assuming that we're in the Fallout universe:

- Water Chip
- Stockpile of Blamco Mac and Cheese and Pork 'n' Beans
- Lever Action Rifle w/ approximatly one hundred 10mm rounds
- First Aid Kit including 10 Stimpaks, 10 RadAway, and 10 Bobby Pins
- http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/One_Man,_and_a_Crate_of_Puppets

Umm, you would need a gun. Forget the Raiders you encounter after leaving Vault 101? Duh. People in Vault 101 assumed that everything eventually died in the world but, for everything being dead. It is quite a hostile place. I think, some sort of group of people would make it in the wasteland and they may or not be friendly.

Well it worked for Harrison Ford...

My stuff:
- An Xbox 720 (assuming this is in like 5 years for the sake of whatever)
-Every good Xbox, 360, and 720 game ever made (and a few crappy ones to make the good ones seem better)
-A PS4
-Every good Sony game ever made
- Enough canned food for 10 people to have 3 cans a day for 10 years (109,500 cans, I believe)
-A water purifier connected to an underground spring
-20 sets of replacement parts for the purifier
-LOTS of Kool-Aid and iced tea mix (manually purified water tastes NASTY :yuck: )
-A hydroponic garden (so we won't get scurvy)
-A 50 inch bulletproof TV (that doubles as a computer)
-5 geiger counters

My 10 people:
-Me
-My brother
-My dad
-My mom
-My friend Jacob
-My friend Sam
-My friend Courtney
-A doctor
-Jacob's girlfriend
-Sam's girlfriend

The Armory:
-An M16A4 for my Dad (He's most used to it)
-A Spas-12 for my brother (He's good with shotguns)
-An M1 Carbine for me (Just seems practical)
-An AK-47 for Jacob (Used to it)
-An .870 Autoloader for Sam
-Glock 17s with hollowpoint rounds for all of us

The Plan:
If a nuclear weapon hits a major city, it usually takes two weeks for the radiation to wear down to a survivable level. We'll be staying 10 years to be on the safe side. We'll be well occupied for the duration of our stay, and have enough weapons to kick a little ass if there's any mutants or raiders. If humanity is decimated, we'll be able to proliferate for 2 generations without inbreeding. After the ten-year period, we will send some of us to check out what happened. If our supplies run low, we will scavenge. We will search for other survivors (remember, we can only produce two generations without inbreeding), maybe join post-apocalyptic society if there is one. Wouldn't want to end up like the Republic of Dave.

Well, if I had to store up supplies for my personal vault I would make sure..

-There is enough room for my whole family to use and be comfortable in
-Air Conditioning
-No use for television if everyone's dead. so a bunch of writing utensils
-Tons of food to last years
-Lots of ammo, and of course Tesla Armor, since TB is too rare to have in masses

-Clothing such as casual wear
-A PIP-Boy for everyone xP
-A dog
-A robot servant
-Alarms for any intruders

-A vault door
-RadProof walls
-Pest Protection
-Isolation Chambers for when someone misbehaves
-Terminals

-Color coded jumpsuits
-A bar
-Appliances and furnitures
-Cameras, to watch what goes on outside
-Stuff to paint with

-Water Water Water
-Generators
-Comfy beds
-Pillows, and blankets
-Dressers

I am sure there is a lot more I can bring. But this is what I can think of right now. :P
