Your Quirks?

I seem to collect rolled up Boston Bugles for some unknown reason. I think in the beginning I thought they'd be part of a mission, and then even after I found out they are nothing more than a paper source, I just kept doing it. I have quite the pile now.

I also admit to arranging dead people in funny positions. :sadvaultboy:

My dad empties out the enemies inventory and when they're especially nasty people he lays the inventory right next to them as a eff u kind of thing and places them in .. compromising situations for lack of better term

I don't know if this is a spoiler, but you know the part in the main quest where you have to build the thing to do the thing? I always build it in the puddle at Starlight Drive-In, as an homage to Old World Blues. Do it with every character. :P

Hmmm the Junk Jet might be the best solution! Provided, of course, the bowling ball is retrievable AND it doesn't destroy the pins. It's worth a shot. Haha I made a joke..(groan).

I like to collect vases and picture frames - somewhat curbed now that I'm realizing how frustrating it can be to get them arranged properly.

I also grab dog tags too, and my home base is littered with beer and liqour bottles (my character has been hitting the bottle pretty hard.)

Also glad to see I'm not the only one that's fond of rugs!

I have SO MANY lunch boxes! All lined up on shelves over my couch! So many lunchboxes!

BTW: Why would there be a light bulb as the prize in a lunch box? That's just weird.

- Since raiders attack just about every time I visit my Covenant settlement, I'm always spending time tossing bodies in the river.

- Collecting every single hot plate and food tray I see.

- Hoarding power armor frames.

I've noticed that I pretty much shy away from Energy Weapons in almost every Fallout game except Fallout Tactics.

Bodies have tendency to de-spawn so i try to loot them as they fall. if i become over-encumbered i just drop the loot in a container near the spawn in point until the area is clear then i can fast travel back and forth without fear of losing anything.(till i got my third strong back perk, now i just FT with all of it).

I play with weird FOV settings. I kind of like the fishbowl effect.

Also, I am admittedly a sadist. I like to cripple Deathclaws and Behemoths by shooting off their legs, forcing them to crawl through land mines, and ultimately dispatching them with a butter knife in the face .

Unfortunately there is no way to sweep up dead leaves, or anything that you can't highlight in build mode. That said, if you like mods, I do believe I saw a mod on nexusmods.com that allows you to do exactly that - to some extent.

I read this as "I want some Nuka-Cola in real life" and I was going to reply that you can buy it at Target. :)

Ahhh too bad. I'm on PS4, so no mod for me. Oh well, thanks for the suggestion!

I have personality quirks for two characters i have played extensively.

One is a Vats snob will not use it except to gather intel on enemies using the perception perk Awareness I think. This character will tag every enemy I can find with the recon scope before engaging in combat and uses fire and move tactics. My specials started out as 3 10 3 3 3 4 3 (includes 1 point from the special book )and have changes slightly to 3 11* 5 6 6 4 3 (* having a 10 perception and getting the bobblehead popped me up to 11.) I planed to increase agility to 7 for ninja but it really wasn't needed as my wounding combat shotgun can make short work of anything that gets close and sneak crits x2 works fine for plasma rifles lol. No seriously I found I wanted other perks more and it kept being delayed eventually i'll probably get ninja at perk 7 but I haven't required it for this sniper based concept dropping a small minefield around my original sniper's nest position more than makes up for the fact I can't one shot kill some strong enemies with low sneak attack damage because they run into a minefield at the location I was at and because it is perked they take lots of damage and i can pick off stragglers. I find it a quirky way to play because i know a 3 7 3 3 3 7* 3 (*including the special book ) would have been an idea sniper build start. Having him be a sniper with a low agility has been kinda fun.

The second character is a 'i can't shoot at all I NEED vats to survive' concept, so this character really never fires without vats. Long range shots that i know, I the player, can make I don't and instead use vats even though i will likely miss and i don't use McReady (sp?) because his perk is broken and op for vats. This high luck character with low agility, low strength uses lucky drops and merchants to get weapons and armour with mods for my character. I can't recall this character's exact specials because I haven't played this character much past finishing the main quest for the first time. I do recall i push up my Charisma but not nearly as high as my luck at the expense of strength. it was kinda fun have very few action points but able to refresh them quickly and easily. Again a quirky way to approach combat, at least i think so.

My quirks carry over to most of my game playing; but for FO4....

- Settlement houses MUST be level and proportional. MUST have CARPETS!

- Organized inventory; hate carrying things I don't immediately need.

- Lighting, lights EVERYWHERE!!

- Full Clips; ALWAYS do a full reload even if I empty one round

- Completionist; you all would hate watching me play, takes me FOREVER to clear an area....must find ALL treasures!

My quirks are no way as....intense..as some of yours..

My char wears a Sequin dress, Pompadour wig, and fashionable sunglasses. The rest is Power Armor and nothing in between.

Hmmm, only real quirk I have, is that I have to arrange items in their respective containers :D All my loot are divided up in categories, and the spoils of war is filling a lot by now, lol!!

yes, dead enemies that is. The skellies you can't (altho using a broom or mop to "sweep" works if you want to push them around, no lifting tho)
