Hi fellow skyrim adventurers...please post ur expirences and vote for this thread NO TROLLERS OR FLAMERS just be constructive and honest.

im a ps3 owner 80hrs in and save is bout 10/11mb i have had nothing short of an amazing game so far. love the enviroments, the enemies, the sky at night etc etc etc.

yes i have had the odd bug and crash just like oblivion and the fallouts but nothing gamebreaking i dont have this lag that a lot of people are going on about.HOWEVER i dont DENY that its happning and i do hope bethseda are listning to the loyal and fixing it for the people who need it.

i would give the game 9 just because i dont think that any game should get 10 as its there never perfect.

SO VOTE AND LET THE THREAD KNOW ABOUT YOUR EXPIERENCE GOOD OR BAD

The most enjoyable game I've played in a while. While far from perfect, it's closer to it then any game I've played in the past decade.

The game is excellent! Of course a game of this size is bound to turn up a few bugs or glitches now and then, but they'll be fixed in time. Understandably, a few veteran TES fans are a bit bummed that some of the aspects of previous games have gone missing, but that's been clear since Oblivion.

For me, I love it (and I am one of the TES veterans). Great graphics, great music, and some great little easter eggs relating to previous games.

My only real grips is that I think the guilds could have been done a bit better.

Excellent game, easily the best I played this year. I gave it a 9, minus 1 for the minor bugs and crashes. With the addition of mods, it may go back up to a 10 though.

I voted 7...

When I am able to create my own mods and add things I need to the game I will rate it 10+.

I voted 5, sorry guys.
I am on PC and have played many games, I take into account, enjoyment, expectations, past experiences/games, longevity, challenge and controlls/UI.
It's cirtainly not the worst, but it's not the best either, I still play football manager and DemiGod (a three yr old game) more than Skyrim and I essentialy love rpg's.

I give it an 8.

I absolutely love the game overall but it does have issues.

Some being bugs, which I expect and accept as a PC gamer.

Others being design choices. (Lack of spell making. Gimped destruction, mana regen that drops down when you need it most.)

The fact it's a console port on my gaming PC. :meh: (Yeah I get why, I still don't have to like it. :P)

Still lots of fun if you can get past these issues though. :)

P.S.

Ok, it's an 8 on the poll but an 8.5 in my mind. I just couldn't go up to 9 as of this time. If I see what I want in the January patch, I'll gladly bump it to a 9.

-2 For issues, broken quests etc
-1 For going backwards with companions and choice consequence from FO3/NV (I know Obsidian but same engine)
-1 For short guild quest lines
-1 For UI

+3 For mod potential.

So 8

Vanilla is above average a lot of potential will be unlocked with mods. So I'm sure I'll get months if not years of play when all is said and done. Thanks to Beth for the platform and thanks in advance to the mod community.

My problems with the game have nothign to do with bugs, though i do get the occasional CTD. No quest bugs yet, luckily. Problem is that it is lacking the final layer of polish that separates the good games from the unforgettable games. It has it moments, usually interrupted by bugs, non-sensical desing decisions or just the general half-assedness  It could've used for some more time in deveploment.

8/10 (where 0 is the lowest, not 6 :hehe:).

Overall, as a PC game, five being average, I give it a 6. It was polished pretty well, some bugs but its expected. Combat was immensely improved from the older TES games, but overall feel of the game, the UI, controls, movements, story plot, graphics, and audio selection is just average. But like all TES games, mods will make it amazing. For now, its just above average at 6 IMO.

I voted 9 because this is my first Elder Scrolls game so apparently it's one of the best games I've played in years, I've never experienced so much freedom in an RPG game like this one.
I took off 1 point because there are rooms for improvement, of course, such as the bugs/glitches/crashes that I've experienced (not too often, thankfully), and also for the completion of certain features that seemed unfinished (e.g. marriage, cooking, etc.)

Although overall, it's one of the best out there. Definitely deserves GOTY.

I'm ten years deep into TES for a reason and so for its honestly been my favorite one yet.

Except for the people who can't play because of bugs, I don't get the haters at all.

And please don't explain it to me, I see the hater spam ALL DAY LONG.

I love this game, I really do. Its the best game I have ever played. But actually playing it is the hard part. With the latest patches I crash more than anything. If that didn't happen this game would be 10/10 easy.

But seeing as i can't play bc of crashing 6/10.

9

There are some features that i wish they had implemented, but the game in general is great !

The only reasons i give 9 and not 10:

- The lack of some features that shoul have been implemented

- Major Bugs such as the ones that don't let me continue a quest.

Just that..

Minor Bugs don't bother me at all...

10/10

I was expecting there to be MUCH more bugs and crashes in Skyrim than there actually were. I was probably deep into 50 hours before I ran into a bug. (though I ran into a few, occasional crashes.)

Then there's mod potential and just how enjoyable this game is and how it has progressed since IV. Honestly, this has to be THE game in the past five years I wasn't let down on with hype. I put in the game and it was good. Very good. Not the good I was expecting, but a different good that was good all the same. I honestly love this game. It has bite, grit, and a battle-hardened spirit.

I put in a nine but with mods to adjust the gameplay to what I want (more RPG) it will rise to a 10.
Skyrim seems to me to be a wonderful platform to start modding from. It got tons of loose threads (how mechanics work ingame - smithing, economy, food etc) that will be expanded with mods and thus become what they always was meant to be :D

I've noticed that the only games I truly enjoy are the ones that are moddable, and Bethseeda and Egosoft have provided much for me the last ten years or so.

Cheers!

10.

I'm not a gamer. And I'm not picky. But I have played the hell out of MW, OB, and now Skyrim and I am blown away with happiness.
