If we define the amount of hand holding in the Oblivion as 80, and Morrowind's as 20, what would be the amount of hand holding in Skyrim?

1. How do you make up for taking out athletics and acrobatics skill? To what degree can we now smoothly progress our skill at traversing the world?

2. Will there be more gear slots than we had in OB, will we have a slot of pauldrons, cloth, cloaks ect.?

3. Will there be uniquely placed artifacts in the world?

1. Open cities?
2. What are the guilds, and how will they be handled this time around? Specifically, how the factions relate with eachother, pre-requisite skills, and how it functions when you are in charge.
3, How does the crime system work? No more psychic guards?
4. Will there be more hand placed loot than Oblivion?

Hey Todd, what's your opinion on the subject of ropes and ladders? I think they would enhance the stealth gameplay greatly.

What is your name?
What is your quest?
What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

...in all seriousness, I'd ask him if he dreams of Skyrim on a regular basis.

About the interface, because its the only thing I see Beth doing that I don't understand. Its just keeps getting worse since MW.

The new interface has been praised as if it were sliced bread. It's getting accolades like there's no tomorrow.
That screenshot looks darn good, if you ask me.

My #1 question: Can we climb mountains like an alpinist?

Theres been alot of interviews with Todd Howard on Skyrim here lately and i know alot of you can think of a few questions that you would love to ask the guy that never seemed to get asked.

My question?

What armour is the dovakiin wearing in his pics and trailer?
How intuitive can we expect armour and weapon crafting to be? (ie type, design. material, colour)
Will there be references to the Akiviri?

I can almost hear the informative responses now.

"What armour is the dovakiin wearing in his pics and trailer?"

TODD: Yes...well, I can confirm that the armour that you've seen in the pics and the trailer will be in the game as of this moment and that could change, but beyond that we're not discussing armour just yet so I can't say much more on the subject...ahem...NEXT!

"How intuitive can we expect armour and weapon crafting to be? (ie type, design. material, colour)"

TODD: I thought we moved past the armour questions here...oh crafting...well again I can't say much, but we've got some exciting stuff in store for all the would-be blacksmiths out there. You know we came out the other side of Oblivion and learned a lot about what our players really want out of the game experience. One thing we noticed was that alchemy had been slowly developing a...I guess you could call it a 'cult following' within our games, and of course spellmaking has always been a favorite, so we thought, what if we created a unique system, similar to what we've done in the past with alchemy and spellmaking...ummm sorry did I say spellmaking...what I meant to say was enchanting...so yes, we thought, what if we created a unique system, similar to what we've done in the past with alchemy and spel enchanting and tailor it specifically for the warriors of the game. NEXT!

"Will there be references to the Akiviri?"

TODD: Mysterious Akavir? Well its rumoured dragons once lived there...does that count...(laughs). Well I can say we're working on a few things with regards to the lore surrounding Akavir, but for them to make it into the game, we would want them to be polished and fit perfectly with what we already know of the mysterious continent, and right now...they're just not there yet, so whether or not we'll hear anything more about the Akaviri in Skyrim really depends on the next few months. I guess you'll just have to wait and see.

Here's what I'd ask him.
  • Will there be pauldrons? If so, will gloves and pauldrons be separated into left/right?
  • Can have clothing under and/or over my armor?
  • How will the PC UI work in Skyrim, and what will it look like?
  • Will there be werebears and werewolves, and can I turn into one?
  • Is there a quest marker in Skyrim? If so, how will it work, and will I be able to turn it off?

The forum interviews should be coming up pretty shortly. I'm expecting an announcement on that within the next 3 weeks on that.

My regular question would be what's his favorite race.

My Skyrim question would be how excatly did you create and design the dragons.

I want to ask if the quest update system has been changed, if there is still an arrow that points you to the destination and if the stolen items are still recognized by every merchant.

Then I'd ask him for more clarification about the UI, too. It just sounds clunky and unwieldy on the PC.

Yeah this concerns me as well. Interface is always that way when the UI is designed for console then ported without much thought being put into it. I don't see Darn losing work any time soon, hopefully he is still around to help us out. Of course even just moving the xml elements around only goes so far. The control scheme needs a lot of work as well, hotkey functionality, the works. It wasn't all that great in OB.

"Can I... Can I follow you around? I won't get in the way!"

On a serious note though, i would ask:

1. Can you tell us something about house customization, is it in? Is it better then in Oblivion?
2. Will we have more hair-styles to chose between this time?
3. How many diffrent types of weapons and armor is there compared to Oblivion? And are pauldrons in a own slot, or is it a part of the chest armor?

My question would be:

What element of the game are you personally looking most forward to, are you most excited about to see in its final form?

If you had to/could, how would you link the other 3 games coming out this year to Skyrim. If.

For example, achievements in one game gaining you items in another. Or unlocking something in one game can change something in the other game. Or mabey nothing at all?

1) "Whats your favorite cup size?"

2) "What do you like eating on wednesdays @ 3:27am?"

3) "What if any are the differences between races not including cosmetic differences?"

4) Do you like owls that used to be recently alive?

5) Is it me, or is the cameraman looking good holding like things, you know,::creepy stare:: in his hands....

6) ::pulls out fatman::"So, Todd, any new features you would like to discuss in detail, that have NOT been mentioned already?" 90 minutes later... "Oh, Todd dont be so modest. Im sure you can tell us a few more."::creepy stare::
