Post » Tue Sep 22, 2015 3:59 pm

My list falls short of Top 10, but these are the games that quickly became my favorites:

1) Doom (specifically II)

2) Descent II

3) Descent: Freespace

4) MDK 2

5) Fable: The Lost Chapters

6) Oblivion

7) Skyrim

8) Divine Divinity

An honorable mention to Doom 3 (really enjoy the BFG edition).

I am horrible at list because my favorites change depending on my mood, but let's give it a try...

1.) Oblivion

2.) Divinity: Original Sin

3.) The Might and Magic series, most of it anyway

4.) The Sims 2

5.) Pokemon/Animal Crossing NL

6.) Dragon's Dogma

7.) Shadowrun Returns

8.) TES: Daggerfall

9.) Masters of Magic/Orion 2

10.) Fallout 1/2/3

Honorable Mentions: Skyrim, only because the hunky bearded men and the hundreds of mods I had to add to make it fun. :P

Gosh! This is hard. I have so many favorite games! Most of them old school. I'll try, but this is in no order.

-Ocarina of Time
-Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
-Halo: Reach
-Destiny
-Mechassault II
-Morrowind
-Oblivion
-Far Cry 3

Some very good contenders: Majoras Mask, Star Wars Podracer, Super Mario 64, Azurik: Rise of Perathia, Devil May Cry 3, 007 Goldeneye, Halo 3, Warcraft 3...so many good games..

Pool of Radiance, I'm surprised to see someone put that in their list, love that game, the old classics, can't beat them in many ways, especially difficulty lol.

It's interesting seeing how diverse our gaming enjoyment is!

RPGs and adventure games make sense. Strategy, simulation, and FPS games find their way in, too. How diverse! :D

1. Morrowind

2. Planescape: Torment

3. Skyrim

4. Fallout 3

5. Half Life 2

6. Assassin's Creed 2

7. Mass Effect. I'd be going with the third game (my actual favorite) if not for the ending.

8. Thief: Deadly Shadows

9. Syberia

10. Total War: Shogun II

The games are not necessarily in the order of which I like more (except for the first place), but rather in the order of which one I'd rather play right now. Oblivion, though one of my all-time favorites in terms of gameplay, is not on the list because of its level-scaling and flaws/plotholes in the story.

  • Deus Ex
  • Thief II: The Metal Age
  • Mass Effect trilogy
  • Baldur's Gate saga
  • Planescape: Torment
  • Monkey Island series
  • Crusader Kings 2
  • Age of Empires 2
  • Pokemon anything that isn't Hoenn HG/SS

That's a hard one...

1. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (I played this game and beat it more times than I could ever hope to count. Absolutely loved it growing up)

2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_Adventure (The original Secret of Mana released on GameBoy. I never beat it :( but I logged so many hours into this game and loved it.)

3. Fable: The Lost Chapters (originally started off with the first release of Fable but then got this one for it's extended content)

4. Dragon Age Origins (Inquisition is pulling in close to it though)

5. TES Oblivion

6. TES Skyrim

7. FO New Vegas

8. Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven

9.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranger_X (A mech suit side scroller for Sega Genisis)

10. Soulcalibur IV

I would like to clarify that there are many other games I could add in this list and replace some of my choices with. This list holds the games that I have logged many hours into and/or replayed multiple times.

So I didn't think I can name 10, but as it turns out I have 12 :P

1. Half-Life 1 {the first PC game I played, I was ten and I felt so special figuring it's puzzles out,, it was the game that hooked me to video gaming, my dad also liked it a lot and actually finished it, wierdly enough other than playing Mortal Kombat on sega with me when we still had it :P he never played any other games }
2. Commandos 2: Men of Courage
3. Command & Conquere: Generals {We still get together with some of my friends and play this game, massively nostalgic for me }
4. Morrowind
5. Mass Effect Series {I've played them so much I'm actually slightly ashamed :D }
6. The Witcher Series
7. Fallout New Vegas
8. Skyrim {with a plethora of mods though}
9. Gta series
10. Dark Souls
11. XCOM: Enemy Within {with longwar mod}
12. Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl

1:The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
2:Red Dead Redemption
3:Dragon Age: Origins
4:The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
5:Gears Of War 3
6:Final Fantasy VII
7:Journey
8:The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
9:Fable II
10:Grand Theft Auto V

I have a strange taste in games, i seem to favour world atmosphere and tone over gameplay, that's my hook. I could play any of the top 5 for hours on end (Gears for multiplayer), all greats i think.
