Your very first game

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 7:18 pm

first game I bought for myself was probably something for my Acorn Electron. Possibly Zalaga or Tarzan

In a more recent context, the first game on a "modern pc" was probably the HoMM compendium comprising of 1 & 2 plus the exp pack Price of Loyalty

The first game I bought was Battle Realms. I loved it, dunno if anyone has heard about it. However, I had been playing games way before; my first game probably was on the amiga.

The first encounter I can remember with video games was when my dad brought an old computer over from his office when I was 3. He had a 2D race game on a floppy-disk with F1-cars made up from some pixels... IIRC it even had a pit-lane... Don't ask me for a tittle though :P

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lords_of_the_Realm_II, I believe. It was very complex for me, my brother had to show me how to do everything, but I loved it.

Microsoft Flight Simulator '95

If you don't count that as a game, then it would be Pokémon Stadium for the Nintendo 64.

I believe that the first computer game that I've played was either Doom or Jazz.

Good times.

It's difficult to figure out. I have to strain my brain to figure this one out, hmm. Sarge's Troopers on Nintendo 64? Somethin early like that, it may have been Mario for all I know.

I don't really remember the games, but it involved a keyboard, audio tape and a small black and white tv. Then we had a tandy 1000 and, oh behold, color! Now it was black and green!

* Tries to think back... *

The console was carved out of granite and weighed about 6 tons; it was powered by mystic sleestak crystals, and hamsters on treadmills.

Super Mario for the 64. I would play that with my Nanny because my Brother would get angry at my poor jumping skills. I got good eventually and can now stay on top of the mushrooms... until the goomba guy runs into me.
