Peekaboo while I was still laying in my crib :whistling:

Serious answer: First video game was Pong. First board game was probably Sorry!

Aye, pretty much.

First console game was Combat that came with the 2600.

First computer game...I have never come across anyone who knows it, and I don't remember the name. Had to be about 1980 on the Apple II. A text adventure that had me climbing some kind of tree to get a golden leaf, possibly on Mars. Another game at the same time was Oregon Trail.

Except my board game was probably Candyland. My dad always wanted a purple player, but there wasn't any. So Mom and I made purple little cover for one of the players :)

Mine was Pokemon Gold version. I remember when that game was brand-spankin' new, and it was the coolest. I still play it, on the same savegame I've had since I was 5.

I grew up with an older brother who loved video games. The very first system I remember us getting and playing was the NES with the original Super Mario. However, before that we had a TI99-4a with games like Hunt the Wumpus, Car Wars, and Space Invaders. We also had a Colleco Vission with games like Defender and the original Donkey Kong. But yea, the original NES Mario Bros game was the first I "actually" remember getting.

Hoo boy. I feel so old reading this topic.

Anyway, earliest that comes to mind would be the Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt combo, Kung-Fu Heroes, Blaster Master, and Rampage, all for the NES. I do remember the family had some Atari console before then, but no memory on what games we had for that.

the Mario Bros/Duck hunt bundle

Ditto that. For PC, the first game I remember playing was Ultima VII. Which still rocks, btw.

the Mario Bros/Duck hunt bundle

This followed by the gold Zelda cartridge and the first NES Ninja Turtles. Ghost and Goblins fell somewhere in between those but those are BAD memories so I try to forget it.

God my very first game, I can't remember if dreamcast game out first or N64 either way it is between Mortal Kombat 4, 007:Golden Eye or for Dreamcast; some anime vampire based game that I can't remember the title for or even if it was vampire based O__O
I think I started playing games when I moved into the house I live in now and I moved in when I was about 6yrs old and started playing games like Mortal Kombat when I was 7 or 8years old.

But ya here is my firsties that I can remember titles for

RPG: Final Fantasy 7 PSX
FPS: 007:Golden Eye N64
Fighter:Mortal Kombat 4 N64
Action: Sonic Adventure Dreamcast I think
Adventure: Shenmue Dreamcast (I forgot if thats how it is spelled)
Horror: Doom 3 (PC demo than switched to Xbox lol)

Thats all I can think of

Hmm I think when I was 4 or 5 I played this game on my parents really old computer called Chip, anyone remember this? If not it was probably like Pajama Sam, Fatty Bear, Freddy the Fish, or Putt Putt. My first console game was Pokemon Red though.

Edit: It may have been one of the first Marios or Duck Hunt.
