Your weapon of choice

Post » Wed Aug 31, 2011 11:56 am

Combination A: Sword/sword

Combination B: Sword/Dagger

Combination C: Dagger/dagger

Combination D: Axe/axe

...So heaps really. Lol, just too much fun to be had. Though I'm still a bit of a die-hard for pre-OB styled skill sets (ie, all the individual weapon skills, as opposed to 'One Hand' or Two Hand'), it sure does gives us greater accessibility to diversity and fun times. I don't normally use axes, as they have always come across a bit crude and inelegant when compared to a sword or dagger, but a dual-wielding axe Nord warrior... Yes.

My first playthrough will be a nord warrior with an axe in each hand...love axes, they seem more ferocious than swords and maces :toughninja:

Will make a gandalf type too though...sword and staff :)

I usually prefer a longsword and a nice shield, but man! I never even thought of the dual dagger option; I'm going to have to try that out at some point. I'm left handed in real life, so I really hope I have the option of wearing a shield on my right arm and using my sword on my left. If I was going to get very specific, I would say that I hope Goldbrand/Eltonbrand and/or Umbra are back in the game. Those are my two favorite swords.

I'll be rolling with dagger/dagger & a bow. Being an assassin is going to be amazing this time.

I'm going to use a long sword, and hope it benefits from 2-handed weapon perks when I use it as such.

I intend to actively alternate between Longsword, Longsword+Claw, and Longsword+Spell

EDIT: Unless there's a perk that lets me use a Claymore one-handed for brief periods of time.

Claymores....I dunno why but they just always look cool.

Then again maybe I've been watching too much Final Fantasy and anime shows.....

Certain types of Cleavers/Axes too.

I will dual wield 2 swords, 2 axes on my ranger PC, and then mix it up and have fun.

I'll do what I did in Oblivion and use a bow most of the time unless I'm being swamped with foes then I'll either switch to a longsword or a dagger.

i will use a bow because rarely is there a problem that cannot be solved with stealth and a good aim but if that fails il go with dual hatchets.
