My worst moment playing New Vegas was when I accidentally killed a Legionary :( Shouldn't have thrown those random nades....

First encountering Cazadore. "Pffft, these little pansy bugs?" -pulls out varmint rifle- *Five seconds later* "OH GOD RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN"

This, and my first time going through deathclaw country at lvl 2. Next time, I'll believe the signs.

Getting ready to leave Broc Flower Cave and I thought, "There was nothing outside when I came in, guess I don't need to enter sneak mode." I come out and was surrounded by 6 or 7 nightstalkers. That was the bad part.. The good part was I somehow managed to kill them all without dying. :)

I decided to kill the legion at Nipton and followed a merchant cavan to Novac for protection from the Legion assassins. During the fight I tried to help out and accidently shot a mercanry aggroing the whole caravan. Had to kill the Legion then the Caravan. Walked away the sole survivor leaving nothing but some Brahmin, a few corpses, and some piles of ash. Whoops.

I also tried to kill a death claw Alpha male at level 18, it killed me Lily and Rex..

And there was that time I cleared out a Viper Gang hide out in Bittersprings? I went did the Dead money content and came back, decided to see the Vault that was close to the town. Fast traveled to it and discovered a nest of Cazadors moved in and got overwhelmed by angry wasps..

It does not need to be a new Oblivion...that game can be 50 years old, never crash, and still be better then any fallout game....or any game at that.

oblivion was phenominal, fallout is way way better though :flamethrower:

Both are Berthseda Softwork games and share alot of simularities. I don't see why they need to compete at all. They draw from the same well after all.

Fallout was created by Interplay, then, the second Fallout 2 was developed by Black Isle, then, they went bust, and Bethesda bought the game

On topic::

I tried to go to New Vegas at lower levels straight after escaping Goodspring, guess what happened

In an earlier play thru somewhere around level 1 or 2 I remember being mobbed by a bunch of geckos just out side Jean Sky. I was slow to react and totally underestimated them. Geckos for crying out loud.

Every single time I was trying to get somewhere and ran into an invisible wall. Special points to times when it was just a very slight incline.

No Oblivion wins all out....And yes it does need to be competed....Oblivion had better story, replayability, and pretty much everything else. That game took skill where as in fallout once you reach level 10 you will never die again unless your against something form broken steel. But that is from a game made by Bethesda where as New Vegas was made by "mostly" Obsidian...

Oh holy cow, please stop talking, you act as if Fallout 3 represents all of Fallout, when it is really just your precious Oblivion with a new wrapper, it is nothing like the original Fallouts which easily trounce your Oblivion to hell and back.

Trying to make a shortcut by going through the mountains from Primm to Novac.

"Oh watch out, there's a Deathclaw. Oh wait, according to VATS it's blind. I should be able to sneak past that. Let's put on my stealthboy just in case.

Okay, that didn't go so well. Reload."

When i was walking around Sloan and found a recharger rifle and thought it was so cool well i didn't want to shoot is cause i thought it had 14 shots in it and when i reached Sloan i killed that Snuffles thing and they got mad and chased me around right into quarry junction and then i seen the deathclaws so ran and found black mountain and got slaughtered by the residents of Sloan, deathclaws, and supermutants/nightkin all the while not firing a shot because i thought i had 14 shots.

NightStalkers. Me and Ed-E running in to our first pack of NightStalkers near Mohave Outpost - very early in the game.

Aww what are they? Nice little woofwoofs....

Oop! :ooo:

I panicked, ran backwards chucking grenades while Ed-E (my only chance of survival) got blown up by my grenades, and I ended up with a dead Ed-E and four remaining NightStalkers all over me in seconds. :whistling:

every time i get near the end and the writers decide who i shouid kill. i cant even try to lie i have a 100 in speech but can t use it during the most important times of the game. I can get a hoker to bang me for 50 caps less but no options during the important time. None of the ways this game can end r the best way and the writers hamstrung the player into doing things he doesnt think is a good idea or the game will not progress. People telling me to kill everyone but them is not a good set up to the ending. Everytime i get near the end is the worst because it seems like there r choices but they r really all real close to the same. Excluding a Ceaser ending.

yeah the Main Story ended for me when i killed benny idc about the rest, wouldnt have minded a BoH ending though

but anyway worst moment, when i got to level 30 and took the confirmed batchlor perk, (didnt no it made your character gay) *talks to ganon, looks at dialog option* NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :swear: *deletes character*

How about Having 7 Perception and being in Sneak mode, only to suddenly be under Danger, there's nothing around, nothing on the compass, and as I'm turning around BAM a Reaver just appears in front of me.
