A draugr standing outside High Gate Ruins. Not hostile for some bizarre reason ... just standing there watching the sunset in the west enjoying a serene moment (until I chopped it).
Today as Cara came out of Mzinchaleft, she and Vorstag were attacked by 5 wolves and a cultist, Boethia's. Taking care of that they get about 2 minutes up the road and a pair of Frost Trolls attacks...no biggie...really. About a minute or so after taking care of them, we hear the thud, thud of a giant walking, no problem we haven't hurt any. Just as he get's into site... just his head., no little red dot ( I turned my hud up to look... don't wanna be surprised by a giant). Cool bean's, we'll just walk on by... yeah right, about the time I can see his feet, up outa the snow bank in between us fly's?...swims?? a Frost dragon...WTF. Bad enough they sometimes just drop outa the sky, popping outa snowbanks....geeze!!
Why I put it as Skyrims creepiest place. It's disturbing on more than one level.
I still think it's a WTF that I never saw them when I was there ages ago (I've only cleared that dungeon once, for some reason I've never went back despite it being a really good dungeon). I probably missed a room despite I really tried to find all rooms because I wanted the whole story told, but afterwards I've gotten the impression that they should be in that large chamber with an open grave in the middle of the floor and flowers (deathbell I think) growing all over the place - but that grave was empty. If there was a body in that room, it was normal size.
My first time through I missed the "notes" and for some reason even though I saw the smaller mummy's, I didn't really connect the dots. My brain saw smaller and though Egyptian... "cats"...derrr no house cat's in the game, second time through and I found the notes...
Passed through Whiterun Hold on a vampire mound near Rorkistead. Along the way I passed a couple of bears. being lv 3 I made a wide arch around them.
But on the way back along the same route I came across them and found them all dead. So I took the pelts and ran lol.
LOL Never turn down a free pelt. I happily loot any dead animals. I rarely fight the Old Orc, I usually just skin the sabre cats and leave without talking to him.
Coming out of the Longhouse after talking to the Jarl in Morthal during "laid to rest", the towns folk are gathered around outside ( I made sure it was nighttime for the sheer coolness of it). All holding Torches and a sword ( or just a weapon). For just a moment everyone was still, then up pops a master vampire, thrall and 2 deathounds.... result epic battle my character couldn't get into the center of. The WTF moment?... well it's a spoiler for the quest!
which you can then talk them out of helping with haha... but yes doing that quest at night is awesome.
I'm still amazed at the physics bugging out so amusingly. Using the console to alter the scale of a horse while you're on it results in some wild sliding and flying all over the place. I was only testing something, fortunately, but it was funny to randomly sail over the head of a patrolling guard.
I was in the College of Winterhold when I found Phinis Gestor...er...http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/559845594771297276/5E9C9F065DF7A293CFD2FE3FA17A44862B49FF6F/ I'm just going to assume a teleportation spell went horribly wrong.
My first wtf moment in skyrim was when a Giant came charging towards me, so i held my shield up in order to block his attack, well.. i almost flew through space.
I had a huge WTF moment tonight. I was starting up my current character and I went with Ralof. I was playing on Expert and the Imperial guy (Not the Captain) killcams me after I miss with my killcam because Ralof was in the way. I had 3/4's of my health and at least 30 points of armor and he still killcams me, WTF. I thought at 1st that I killed him but nope it was the other way around and here's the kicker. Ralof basically afterwards (Before it goes to the loading screen) goes about his businesss, like nothing happened. He didn't yell NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! or make any other reaction. He wanted that key, that was his reaction.
I was pissed at the time but now that I think about it, it's pretty funny that I got an enemy killcam in helgan (Even if it's on Expert Difficulty).
Having Serana has a follower has many amusing moments - not only will she start smithing, enchanting, mixing potions when you're idle (or talking to someone), she will also reanimate dead characters as a temporary companion. I've had frostbite spiders, skeevers, draugr deathlords, and many long dead adventurers join my party on a temporary basis. Always makes me smile
I seem to be having a physics problem with dragons on my main character.... The other day it was one popping out of a snow back. Yesterday as she was getting ready to turn onto the road to Iverstead ( having come from Riften). She hears that bear on the hill and walks to the left to keep him from agro'ing. Two steps later...dragon roar, she quickly moves forward and left to get to a relatively clear space, looks up and not just one, but two dragons are circling. She then has to back pedal quickly as the first dives in fire breath blazing.... and never "pulls back on the stick", just keeps going...strait into the ground! Second dragon is freezing Vorstag so Cara runs over to his aid. Two dead dragons...two dragon souls absorbed. Then the next day... the Greybeards send her to Shearpoint, She runs into Viklas right infront of the road up. One icey blast to the dragon there and it takes off And proceeds to go and Attack Viklas. Viklas, Vorstag and Cara made very short work of that dragon.... No soul. Oh well, she had gotten an extra one two days before.
Looting a slain Falmer only to find it has 4 ears.
Heading south on the road from Dawnstar back home to Whiterun, I find the guards outside fighting with Wilmuth and then they moved on to attack the Battle-born farmhands.
I like they how they are actually Draugr babies.
Was in Bleak Falls Barrow last night. There are those two bandits in the entry way by the fire. I walked in and they were red dots on my compass and I thought for a second they had somehow seen me... they had not. Instead they were killing skeevers.
Usually those skeevers are already dead when I get there.
