The lack of love for Zelda here is diconcerting. Borders ignorance, considering the series has some of the most polished gameplay experiences available. The mentions that it's meant for little kids, however, do not border ignorance. They have gone so deep into it that they almost came out on the other side of the ignorance/brilliance globe, hence them liking Elder Scrolls. Only explanation I've got.

hmm.. zeldas on nes and snes sure... others have svcked.

If you like the top down zeldas check out Alundra. much better imo.. (you dont need magic boots to jump for a start)

I said classic though. I meant the nes and snes. Oh and 64 for sure. Ocarina of Time was so awesome.

I'm surprised that someone didn't know what Hyrule was but didn't ask about Albion.

Let's be honest though, knowing that Hyrule is the main world of Zelda isn't really that common even among gamers.

I started gaming just too late to play the original Zelda games. And they are not popular over here either.

And it doesn't make you any less of one if you didn't know. I jumped from Super Nintendo to Playstation to PS2 to Xbox 360. Didn't mess around with NES or Gamecube and I actually only found out what Hyrule was after I watched the Harry Partridge Skyrim video not too long ago. Guilty!

Edit: Oh, I forgot that this thread is actually about that video...
